I suppose, but with the huge salaries the players make I can't consider it work.

Well it IS work.

But my point was that, because sports happens on the holiday, people who work tangentially to the sport also have to work. And they don't always have big salaries.

And Candice works in sports.

Agree with that. And I think germans working in sports are glad that in germany sports never happen in the christmas/new year holidays. And many have at least two weeks off.
