Nahhh, his plan of becoming obese was not a good plan! I don't think Donna was happy with that plan.

"Because If You Mess With Eric Forman, You Mess With Him" Why am I just noticing this title? Hilarious.

I initially read your response as, "Nahhh, his plan of becoming obese was a good plan." Colleen, I thought I was learning something new about you.

Donna wouldn't have enjoyed obese!Eric. Red wouldn't allow it to happen, either. The moment Eric began to get doughy, Red would have Eric out on the track.

It used to be something else, but I had to change it because I thought of this line and couldn't stop laughing.

It was a terrible plan but Eric is so lazy that he would try to make it happen But Donna would put a stop to it.

It's so hard to imagine Eric being fat, though -- despite the fantasy sequence in that episode. He's so skinny.

It was hard to imagine Eric being fat! Which is why I think I did laugh in the fantasy sequence!

Kelso getting lost in Eric's body ... and surviving on crumbs. Oy.

Fez was so scared to see Eric. Hyde hitting Eric with the bat, and Eric just laughing -- that scene was .

Okay, so I found another (rare) instance of friendship between Eric and Kelso. In "Magic Bus," Kelso buys Eric a birthday cake. That was really nice of him, even though Eric never gets to eat any of the cake. Kelso shares it during the circle, which Eric isn't a part of since he's off looking for Donna.

Kelso also felt sympathy for Eric in that episode (i.e. about not wanting Donna to leave). It's nice actually seeing Kelso care about him. Those rare moments the show gave us probably indicate a deeper friendship. The writers just never thought to depict it too much.

But Eric did take Kelso's side in the Hyde/Jackie/Kelso situation in S5 (),and he helped Kelso get the waiter job in S6. I sense the potential for a one-shot that fills in the blanks in their friendship.
