The writers intended for Melissa to be Hyde's girlfriend during season four, but they dropped the storyline (thank goodness). Hyde had never had a long-term girlfriend on the show, so they were going to start there. Sooo glad they started with Jackie. It's significant that she's the first girl he ever wanted to be with longer than a week -- and the first girl he fell in love with. He "never felt that way about a girl before," not even Donna.

I loved Hyde and Fez's conversations/bond in season 1. Even though I didn't like that Hyde was cast as a villain (trying to steal Donna from Eric), I do like how Fez both supported him while telling him -- in his own way -- to stop pursuing Donna.

I think we'd see some hilarious "interpretations" of American culture that he'd convince himself Hyde transferred to his brain. Hyde might laugh at first, but he'd quickly disavow any responsibility for the creepy and things Fez's brain would conjure up.
