Invasive, indeed.

Just wanted to bring this over from another thread:

Just one week before his death, Perry texted with Tori Spelling and talked to Jennie Garth. He sent Garth a photo of his 18-year-old daughter Sophie, who had recently embarked on a volunteer trip to Malawi.

Thanks for the link, Mel.

"Beverly Hills Ninety Thousand Two Hundred and Ten"? I guess they couldn't get a real person to do this.

So true, I was just re-listening to an interview Luke gave the other day, "The BS Report with Bill Simmons podcast" from 2013
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gi4Fpf-LBw0

Possibly the best interview I have ever heard with him just for the fact that it's 1 hour 17 minutes uninterrupted.
The interviewer mainly brought him in to talk about wrestling but he's also a huge 90210 fan (which it seems Luke didn't realize before haha) so he slips in a lot of 90210 questions.
But definitely a few times in there Luke says he has no interest in social media like twitter etc

Some mentions of Jennie:
around the 19 minute mark he is asked about the rumor of him and Jennie dating.
1:09:45 talking about someone I've forgotten his name, "Jennie always called him Skunky"
and then
"yeah we had Anson Williams on to direct an episode and Jennie called him Potsie every day and I was like would you stop with the Potsie! it was funny."

There is also some fantastic stuff in that interview just about Luke, I actually took notes so I can keep all these incredible quotes from him

yeah I think the reports say he never regained consciousness, this may seem a little bit out there depending on beliefs but there are a lot of reports of patients in comas like this who actually are aware of what's going on even when scientifically it couldn't be proven, and there's the whole spiritual aspect too, but I will stop there as I don't want to sound too much like Iris McKay But if anyone I loved was in that condition I would definitely try to still visit them, if anything just for myself to say goodbye, it seems like the family were waiting for his daughter to arrive back. I'm sure a few of the cast would have gone to the hospital, didn't Luke go when Jason had his big accident?

I heard they are re-airing Luke on SNL from 1993, I never saw that, makes me wonder 1993...were there any Dylan/Kelly references?

I absolutely love that picture above of Luke with pregnant Jennie!

My God, it's so nice but also strange to hear his voice now. Thank you for the link.
I can't remember if I ever told you guys this, but obviously everyone on 90210 was dubbed in Italy and Dylan's Italian voice was much deeper, more "masculine" I suppose, so the first time I heard Perry's actual voice it was a little unsettling. In time I basically rewatcheed every Dy/K scene in its original language and I have to say I grew to like his own voice more. It had a vulnerability to it that's kind of lacking in its adaptation and obviously it was very sexy/endearing in its own way.

My Twitter is only about my fave things on TV basically.

I don't post anything that personal.

I mostly just retweet.

I did join FB a few years ago to be able to download Knots Landing.

Thanks for all the news.

I love the pic of Luke/Jennie with her pregnant.

Wow, January, you've been busy! I am having such deja vu seeing your post about the "B.S. Report" interview (like the actual post). Now I'm watching bits again.

Yeah, "Do you think it's funny that people liked you two as a fake couple so much that they wanted it to become a real couple?"

Hey, Iris McKay knew what she was talking about. I've seen a number of videos on YT in the last few years about people who were in a coma, "trapped inside their body", and they report afterwards that they could hear everything and have thoughts and emotions about it but were unable to communicate back. It's fascinating. Doesn't mean it occurs all the time, but medically it's something that's happening.

Yes, Luke was right at Jason's bedside when he had his accident.

This radio interview is reminding me of when there was that false rumor Luke had died in a snowboarding accident. Totally random.

I don't remember. I don't really think so. I get him and Jason and Shannen's appearances mixed up with what sketches aired. But awwww, that's sweet they're re-airing, and it means I accidentally taped it.

Crazy to think that, in that sense, people in other countries had a somewhat different experience of the character. I mean, tone of voice is so telling. American Dylan is more in touch with his feminine side, I guess, lol.

Only fans ... Yeah, I don't think many people can say that's whey they joined FB. Stacy Galina on that show, btw, is my second cousin.

Finally got my PB back.

It was a bit strange to me too in the beginning Original voices are always better though

Great art Mel!
