Welcome to the South Of Nowhere UC Couples! This is the thread where everyone can discuss couples that either seems unlikely to hook up, but you would love to see happen anyway or couples where the pair has a lot of subtext between them, but haven`t hooked up yet. The only rules here are no bashing of other posters and actors on the show and no icky couples(i.e. Paula and Spencer). We`re not into keeping it in the family like that, although i`m sure there`s a few Ashley/Kyla fan out there(i know who you are. )

Personally my favorite UC Couples on the show are Spencer/Kyla, Ashley/Madison, Kyla/Madison, Ashley/Paula, and Aiden/Glen.

First of all Ashley and Madison are my first UC couple on the show. All their verbal sparring masks the fact that they want each other, well mainly Madison. I think Madison seems like the type that would be curious about being with another girl and Ashley would be the perfect tutor for her. Plus Ashley was really checking Madison out after she turned in her cheerleading uniform.

I jumped on the Spencer/Kyla ship in the next to last episode of this past season. Those two has some potential together. If there`s any UC couple i could actually see hooking up on the show, it`s those two, especially after what Aiden and Ashley did to them.

I`m not the biggest shipper of guys together, but i`m a big fan of Glaiden. The subtext between them was so obvious, especially whenever they`re working out together. Plus Aiden was really tormented on who he should be with. He needs to quit messing with Ashley and Kyla and get with Glen.

Lastly i don`t a lot of y`all will say that i`m crazy for shipping Ashley and Paula together, but i have to say again that all of Paula`s hate masks the truth that she wants Ashley. I could see a situation where things get really heated between them and all of sudden Paula kisses Ashley. Plus look at these pics of Mandy and Maeve:





How could you not want to see Ashley and Paula hook up after seeing those pics, especially the second one?

OMG is Maeve kissing Mandy? That is so disturbing on so many levels. Personally I find Maeve's relationships with Gabby and Mandy a little icky since she's stated that they don't have a motherly/daughterly relationship, lol.

I could so jump on board with Kyla/Spencer in a revenge sort of pairing. That would be kinda hot.

I've always thought Aiden and Glen were gay for one another, it's been there since the very beginning and it would be oh so pretty.

Yes that is Maeve and Mandy kissing after the GLAAD Awards. Personally i don`t find Maeve`s relationship with Gabby and Mandy icky. There`s nothing that says that they should have a motherly/daugherly relationship offscreen.

As for Spencer and Kyla, i could see them getting together because of their mutual heartbreak and as a way for them to find some emotional healing.

I forgot to mention in the opening post that we`re also open to polyamorus relationships(i.e. threesomes like Ashley/Spencer/Madison) and shipping SoN characters with characters from other shows(i.e. crossover shipping. Right now i only have one crossover couple, which is Ashley/Manny from Degrassi. I think those two together would be too much hotness for a lot of people to handle. Plus i would love to see Cassie guest star on the show as Ashley`s ex, but that`s a whole different subject.

Near the end of last season, I was seeing some Spencer/Chelsea but I wouldn't mind S/Kyla

And Ashley/Madison is hotness galore.

I wouldn't mind Spencer/Kyla at all, since they both kinda got screwed over at the end of the season. Not to mention I love them both and they're cute as hell!

I've been reading a fic that has Glen/Kyla in it, and I must say, they are hella cute too. I've always had a soft spot for Glen, and he was such a good guy in the finale, so I'd love for him to hook up with Kyla.

I also adore that one quick scene between Sean and Spence in 2.05, it was super cute. I'd love to see them as friends. They totally reminded me of Veronica and Wallace.

I'm so on the Spencer/Kyla train. I think I have been since Kyla first showed up and Spencer was being all sweet to her. I'd love to see them together

As for crossover ships I adore Ashley/Brooke (OTH).

I couldn't ship anyone now other than Spencer/Ashley, but if Ash weren't in the picture, I'd totally ship her with Kyla. But I would love to have them be good friends next season.

You know if Kyla and Ashley weren't related I might go there....

Eileen and Mandy have decent chemistry, especially in the webisode with all the touching.

Eileen seems to have good chemistry with Mandy and Gabby...so if Ashley and Kyla weren't related I'd be all about Ashley/Spencer/Kyla. But since Ashley/Kyla are related I'll "settle" for Spyla
