I enjoyed their groupe scenes in S1, definitely, but it's all ruined now. Any friendship scenes with them now would be so awkward and unrealistic to me.

Well, the pilot is the only full episode I've seen so far, and Spencer/Ashely scenes from the rest of s1 and s2, so I guess you're right.
Maybe in the future when all the high school drama is behind them...

Recently i`ve gotten hooked into the excellent new show Gossip Girl and that has gotten me to do some thinking about potential couples involving characters from that show and SoN.

The first couple i`ve thought of would be great together is Chuck and Madison. They would be a lot of fun to watch with their similar attitudes and obviously make things very interesting together.

The other couples i`ve thought of are Ashley/Serena, Ashley/Blair, Blair/Glen, Aiden/Chuck and Ashley/Spencer/Blair/Serena.

Mmmmm, Blair/Ashley would be HOT, but their personalities wouldn't match at all. But they are both so sexy...I'd love a hook-up, for sure.

Yeah, they're not UC, but not exactly popular either

Since either people think it's wrong because of Clay, they think it's wrong because of the brother/sister vibe in 3A, or they think it's wrong because they were rooting for Glen/Kyla

I'm not disliking them, though I totally saw it coming from the beginning of the season. But the last few episodes, Glen/Kyla definitely upped the cuteness factor.

No it isn`t wrong. Besides we got to see some subtext between them late last season in the episode where Aiden was having all the girl trouble.
