I think at Zac's age he and Tom had a lot of the same characteristics, at least in Big,, he was very expressive, a little more comedy and over the top than Zac so far, but Townies will probably change that!

So hard for movies to become classics these days because of the fact that Hollywood is running out of ideas. Big mostly became a classic because it was one of those movies that hasn't been done at that time. I still see the piano at FAO and think of Tom Hanks dancing on it.

It really is hard because of lack of originality in Hollywood, but I do think this movie has captured the "classic" movie title well.

seems like all the big movies now do sequeals, so they don't need so many ideas, or a lot of cop shows, or car races. I'm a little worried there are so any shows like Autobaun and Narcs, but that seems to be what people like?

yes,Hairspray had been out, and I don't think MAOW or HSM3 had been out, so nobody would have seen him at a that didn't watch kids disney TV movies, or musical comedy, so this was a big step to getting known by people over age 12

Both HSM3 and MAOW had been out, 17 Again came out early '09, even though it was filmed this, then MAOW, then HSM3. But I think that the order of release came well... something not to out there but known by the wider public as "oh, so he did manage to get a job after HSM!" (even though WE know it was filmed before, but for the public it feels like it wouldn't been post HSM)
