I love it!

I'm currently being baffled at my 30GB Zune. Apparently EVERYONE'S 30GB Zune is frozen and not working today according to the Zune boards. Mine's in boot up and it stays there. I'm upset. It was working last night too.

Anyone else thinks this is fishy and weird?

ETA: It finally turned off because of low battery power.

Oh wow, I it! This may be my favourite OP yet! I love the title Steph and Sadia!

And that picture Bestie is just the cutest thing EVER! Awwwwww!!!! *squishes the cute cats* And at the "I gonna miss your emails."

Catching up from the previous thread:

Bestie Pineapple, hmm? I have no idea, but I look forward to finding out!

I also usually emphasise the point that yes SPN does have two ridiculously gorgeous men in it, but it’s really not about that at all, J2’s good looks are like the cherry on the cake! I didn’t have too hard a time persuading my friend to watch, she LOVES horror movies and gore, and I told her it’d be right up her alley then. Plus, I maybe kinda begged and pleaded with her to tape season 2 for me, cos at the time I didn’t have ITV2 !

And at you watching Dracula! I’m guessing SPN’s Dracula wins there, huh?

Klaudia Thanks love, I’ll try keep warm Yay for shopping and getting a nice cardigan. I haven’t been shopping yet. I don’t have the patience for sales shopping, but my sis did go down to Oxford St. on the Boxing Day sales and she said it was mayhem!

Mel I’m head over heels in love with all the characters too, there’s not a single one I don’t like! So yep, I’m really looking forward to catching up too!

Melissa It sounds like you have a wonderful job, that’s really great that you enjoy it so much. Kids are always so much fun and surprising to work with.

Natasha No, I don’t have any plans for New Years! I never seemed to get that excited about the New Year, I have no idea why! Do you have any plans?

Steph I loved Dracula with his coupon and then with his scooter!!! I just loved the originality of that episode. Especially the way it started with the credits at the beginning, with the old school WB shield, and all the transition shots from scene to scene just like in the old movies. It was brilliant. Guh, I freakin’ the show sooooo much But I think that's abundantly clear by now

Sumona I take your point, sometimes i loose my patient too
Oh gosh a mayhem? It remembers me some UB epizode when Amanda fought bravely for high heels it was quite funny but it was just movie. In reality i don't want to expirience that One time i went to openning new shopping mall. It was throng. I couldn't dog it to exit. Since that time i've respected free space

Girls i'd like to wish you all:
SZCZĘŚLIWEGO NOWEGO ROKU it means HAPPY NEW YEAR

Klaudia Yeah shopping can be a crazy experience! Especially at sales and when new shops are opened. There's always a lot of pushing and shoving, and clothes and stuff everywhere! It gets so messy! Personal space no longer exists

And aw Happy New Year to you too!

In fact, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL YOU GIRLS!!! Love you loads!

Sumona yeah it truly is a rewarding job especially when they get older and they STILL remember you (I've been working with kids forever)

Melissa, your kids sound so cute! What age group is it that you teach?

Fangirl!Twin, you know of course, I love Jacob too. Which is why Eclipse is SO FREAKING GUTTING!!! I don't care how much people apparently like to torture their favourite characters, if you love them as much as you say you do, then you'd give him or her a bit of a happier ending. It's bulls**t not to. SM is just so freaking in love with the E/B thing, it's insane.

And I'm ranting again Sorry!

I hadn't heard about Grand Torino! Interesting. At the moment, I'm actually really excited about The Spirit, just because I love graphic novel movies, and I loved Sin City and 300, and Frank Miller is behind this film too. It's exciting. And my friend and I are going to see Yes Man on Friday, which should hopefully be good. My best friend says it was good, but it's not as good as the book, but since I haven't read it, I don't have too many high expectations.

I quite want to see the new Che movie coming out too, with Benicio Del Toro, he's awesome! Thanks for the info on Doubt by the way, I'm intrigued.

Soulmate Sheesh, your post was of epic proportions! I hope you don't get too drained after all of that, lol. By the way, I know this:

Quote:
I love how he even incorporated the scratching from the episode into the song. Just hilariously genius!
was directed at Mel, but I just had to say, I freaking loved that! I also loved that you could hear Jared really cracking up at that behind the camera

Anyway, it takes me ages catching up in this thread too! Usually because of all the multiple conversations and the fact that I ramble like an idjit. That's why whenever I'm catching up on the board, I always leave the OT 'til last because I know it's going to take the longest, and the most concentration! And I totally feel you on having to change/get rid of smilies, haha. I hate it when I finish a massive catch-up, click 'submit' and I'm feeling all proud of finally being done, then it tells me I've got like, 20 more smilies than I'm actually allowed

OMG, I know what you mean about Eye of the Tiger! There's just so many things to simultaneously laugh at, and love. I love all the bits you mentioned, but I also kinda melt when he first sits on the Impala and does the little shuffley-dance thing - that is ridiculously hot And the leg-guitar is priceless! Also the end when he stands up and spreads his arms, and the look on his face? HEEEE!!! *dies* I know I said this already, but I also love that you can hear Jared just laughing his butt off throughout the whole thing too!

SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Dude, you totally just owned my soul with that rant on Ruby! I LOVE YOU! You pretty much summed up why I hate her too. And yes, GC is a thorn in my ass. I hated Ruby anyway, but I didn't particularly have an opinion on Katie Cassidy, you could pretty much take her or leave her, but something about Genevieve rubs me up the wrong way. Right from the beginning it felt like she was playing the (established) character a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT way, and it made no sense. Also, this is just personal opinion, but I just don't think she's very good. So it really pains me having to watch her. And yeah, WTF was up with Dean apologising to her?! That annoyed me to absolutely no end, I was like "the Dean I know and love would NEVER have done that before!" Also the way he helped her up after Uriel throw her into the wall, OVER HELPING SAMMY?!?! *pulls at hair* What insane, upside-down world did we get thrown into?! He's always hated her, never trusted her, and now suddenly he's all civil to her? What the fruck EVER. I cannot stress how much I need her dead and off my screen.

Dude, if you sounded crazy before, I probably just sounded like a lunatic, lol!

Aarrgh!! Sorry m'dear, I don't read SPN spoilers, so I avoided your spoiler box! For some reason, even though I read spoilers for everything else I watch, I don't for this show, I like to be surprised, so generally, I don't know what's going to happen. I think I might have an idea of what you were talking about though, because of a comment someone made in the Bobby thread on the SPN board:

Spoiler:

By the way, Misha is damned hot XD I couldn't help but notice it as soon as he walked through that freaking barn door! It was funny, because we didn't know what he was yet, or if he could be trusted, but I was sat there watching and thinking "oooh, he's nice..." There is no hope for me That line you mentioned killed me too though, because it's a given Dean doesn't believe it. Everytime he questions his self-worth and puts himself down, my heart just breaks and I want to shake him by the shoulders and make him see sense! I'm hoping that this season and whatever his role is in the big plan will help him realise his own value, and actually care about his life *fingers crossed*

Uriel is such a badass, he's awesome. I love how he's totally on the other side of the spectrum when compared to Castiel, they're totally different angels. I love the contrast though, it's really interesting. And I really loved Anna too! I said this before when the rest of us were discussing this, but she's the only girl I actually like with Dean, lol, cos usually I'm 'meh' over them all. But she was a complex character and I thought their connection was really meaningful, and their story bittersweet. I'd love to see her back somehow. It'd have to be the same actress though, it'd be too weird with someone else!

I LOVE the thing with the iPod jack! "You were supposed to look after her, not d****e her up!" I loved Dean's little reaction when Sam said he thought the car was his, and the adorkable look on Sam's face after Dean threw the thing in the back, it was hilarious.

I really liked the actor who played young!John, I thought he was brilliant. It's also heartbreaking knowing how much he loved Mary, and how much he changed because of her death, becoming exactly the kind of guy she didn't want to be with. It was also heartbreaking to hear Mary talk about how she didn't want her kids in the hunting life, not knowing that's exactly what happened. She was a very good actress too, I agree. And it goes without saying Jensen is phenomenal!

The teddy thing was SO HILARIOUS!!! I saw a part of it during a sneak clip and I just laughed my ass off, especially when he yelled at the little girl to close the door. I was dying when he was like "Whhyyy am I here?!" and she's like "for tea parties!" and he just sobs "is that all there is?" XD One of the kookiest and funniest things on the show, ever. Ben Edlund is awesome!

I agree more Anna-centric episodes would be overkill, but I would still like to see her return, somehow!

Crap, I just squeed a whole bunch again, lol. But you're so totally welcome! ♥ Any excuse for me, lol, but I'm just glad you're enjoying it so much, too. It's going to be hilarious when the show actually comes back, this thread is going to be filled with squeeing and freaking out all the time!

My friend totally didn't stand a chance I'm really competitive so I can get really into these kinds of things, no matter how small they are. But it was all in good fun, haha.

Umm, I ended up watching Sin City and Ocean's Thirteen. Bit random but my sister got the choice so that's just what it ended up being, lol.

That's exactly the scene I was thinking about! Haha, minds on the same wavelength, I love it. And OMG, that scene in Central Perk with the argument is one of my favourites ever, both Joey and Ross are hilarious! I love how Joey just completely messes the whole situation up by breaking Ross' finger then punching him in the nose God help him, he tried. I also love when the two of them kept napping together because it was so comfy XD They actually had some classic scenes throughout the series, they were a hilarious pair. Anyway, I think I remember you mentioning that scrapbook before, I was impressed by the idea. You didn't finish it?! I don't blame you though, it must've been crazy-busy with everything else going on.

I actually really enjoyed the first Princess Diaries film, but I also read the books, so the 2nd movie just annoyed me because she ended up with that random prince when in the books, she was still with the previous guy (I can't remember his name). It's trivial, but just the way I feel, lol! Anna Hathaway is cool though, I like her too. Did you see Get Smart? She was good in that, it was generally a hilarious film! And DUDE! I freaking LOVE The Parent Trap! It was one of my favourite movies when I was younger, I used to watch it all the time. I could quote it all, and I learned the handshake/dance Annie used to do with her butler But I agree about how LL just grew up and became rubbish after that, I wasn't impressed.

Being lazy is always awesome! You might've already known I'd say that though, lol. How was Valkyrie? My weekend was average, I worked on Saturday, which was uber-tiring, but Sunday was relaxing!

Klaudia, I'm from Edinburgh!!! That's really cool your friend came here, and that she enjoyed it so much, that makes me very happy I love this city, lol. Also, I hope you enjoy your holidays! I totally agree, it's always nice to relax whenever you've had a busy time at school/uni. Although I find in my case it's usually not too long before I start worrying about work and deadlines again, it's rubbish! My holidays are from the 19th December - 5th January, so not long to go now, unfortunately.

Bestie SPN's Dracula totally wins. At least over that movie, anyway! Urgh, there were so many things wrong with it, I don't even know where to begin. It was just bad, bad, BAD!

By the way, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you all have a good time celebrating! See you on the flip side, I guess

And thanks you guys! I'm glad you all like the title/OP

Awwww, I love the new thread title and OP. You girls rock!

Happy New Year everyone!!!

Steph - Yay for seeing SM. I'm so glad you liked it. The movie was definitely heartbreaking. Thank goodness for the ending. And like I said that's why I loved the dance number. We needed it after all the heaviness. And hee............little Jamal and Latika dancing were adorable. Yay for loving Dreams of Fire and listening to some of the soundtrack.

It's nice to see a Tom fan since he mostly seems to get negativity. I think he's always good in the movies he does.

I hope you like Mamma Mia when you watch. I'm sure you will. Pierce was looking good..............he definitely had the weakest voice though.

Klaudia - I like Saturday Night Fever too. I thought Moulin Rouge was the strangest thing ever the first time I saw it. But, I fell in love with it the 2nd time I watched. I saw it so many times in the theater. Ewan was amazing in it. I saw Rent in NYC on Broadway which was simply amazing. And how could I forget Phantom of the Opera. That's one of my faves. I've seen that one on stage as well. I also like pretty much every movie version they've done. Do you like the old MGM movie musicals? My dad and I were watching a special on them and there were so many good ones. I remember not liking the older stuff when I was younger but now I have an appreciation for them. The choreography and dancing are just amazing.

Amanda I heard about the whole Zune thing. Strange. Is it fixed yet?

Sumona - Cool. Enjoy watching more of the show. I am all caught up on Chuck now. Now I'm working on Fringe...........I just have a couple more episodes to watch.

Fangirl!Twin - You know you can always rant to me. Nine times out of ten I feel the same as you.

I'm not sure what to think of The Spirit. It hasn't gotten very good reviews. In fact one reviewer that I really like and read the most gave it zero stars. Granted this isn't the type of movie that typically gets good reviews anyways. I like reading certain reviewers/reviews but I never let it determine whether I will see a movie or not or what I think of it. But, yeah, I just don't know that there's really any substance to the movie..............not say like Watchmen. But, I'm such a film geek that I want to see it anyways just because of how the movie looks. I'll probably wait for DVD though but we'll see. I did love Sin City............the whole look of the movie was amazing. And 300 is amazing...........I loved everything about it............the look, the story, etc.

Let me know how Yes Man is. I didn't even know it was a book. Interesting. I do like Jim Carey so hopefully the movie is worth watching.

I love Benicio Del Toro. I want to see Che too.

I also want to see Revolutionary Road with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

Sadia I teach 4 and 5 year olds so the Pre K group ,I think thats the most fun to teach but as I said i've been working with kids for ages and I've taught 1 and 2 year olds as well as 3 year olds in the past ,I think though that 4 and 5 year olds are the best

Fangirl!Twin That's surprising about The Spirit! If it'll be rubbish, I'll be really taken-aback and a bit gutted, and probably a bit annoyed, because Sin City and 300 were so awesome, I kinda have the same expectations for this. Hmmm. I haven't really read anything to do with it, which is why I'm surprised at the bad reviews. But like yourself, I don't let them sway my decision to watch a film or my opinion on it. I guess I'll just have to see!

I had no idea it was a book either until my friend mentioned it Jim Carrey is ok though, I haven't really seen a lot of his stuff but random movies here and there, and I don't mind him. I think he's one of those actors I need to take in little doses!

I've read a lot of good things about Revolutionary Road but I'm strangely detached, I don't really feel that excited by it. I guess it's because I was never into the whole Titanic/EPIC LOVE STORY! as much as others. I might still see it though, because I like Leo

Melissa, that sounds nice! I don't think you'd get much interaction from 1 and 2 year olds, huh? At least if the kids are a bit older, you can have a bit of a conversation! That's cool though, it's great that you enjoy your job so much.

Melissa Aww that's so cute that they still remember you! How long have you been working with kids?

Bestie I was reading through your squeeing and thoughts on SPN I can barely keep up! I can't really add to it, I think between you and Steph you've covered it all, and I can only in hearty agreement!

Also randomly going back to the Princess Diaries thing, I've never read the books, that's prob why I actually like both films. I really like Anne Hathaway too, she's cool. And I definitely wanna see Get Smart, it looks like a hoot. And I The Parent Trap, though I prefer the old version with Hayley Mills, but LiLo was really good in the newer version too. You have got to wonder what happened to her though! I hated her in UB!

And I like Leo as an actor too. He's actually very brilliant, considering the fact that around the time of Romeo & Juliet (awesome movie ) a lot of the hype was based purely on his looks, it's nice to see him mature into a very good actor worthy of all the attention.

Mel Cool, have fun catching up with Fringe! I've read really lukewarm reviews for the show, what's it like?

Bestie Yeah, I just realised that my last post was ridiculously long! But you know me and my tendency to squee, I really can't help it. Especially since Steph is a kind-of new viewer, it gets me excited seeing how excited she is! And then I just talk/ramble on for aaages

You should definitely see Get Smart if you get a chance, it's genuinely hilarious. It was a bit slapstick but had a witty script, and honestly, Steve Carrell is just awesome. I love him the more I see him in stuff. Also Dwayne Johnson and Alan Arkin were brilliant in thier roles too. Really worth the watch!

And I totally agree about Leo. I wasn't all over him after Titanic like so many people seemed to be, and I kinda couldn't be bothered with him, but then I saw The Departed and he just blew me away He's very talented, and it's great that he's actually getting noticed for that now, rather than his looks!

Melissa, the less you have to change nappies, the better I have 5 younger sisters, and I'm the oldest of the siblings, so I definitely know where you're coming from. And I agree about the hilarity of kids! The other day, my youngest sister, the 5 year old, asked if chocolate milk came from chocolate cows

Sadia Thanks for the new thread, I love the OP!!

Yep, the shopping was fun. I think the black/purple shirt is my favorite thing I bought. I love purple. That’s great you got to spend some time with friends from high school! Sounds like you had a nice time.
Oh no, are you worrying about grades?

Not too long after I watched the last Buffy episode, I rewatched the last ten minutes again. It’s understandably so why you still get emotional. That’s so cool Buffy/Spike are one of your biggest ships! I definitely know why. Season 7 was perfection for them! They had like beyond amazing moments in it, ones that made me all teary-eyed. I loved how they stuck by each other, they were such a huge strength for one another. And yes, that speech you mentioned was absolute love, one of my favorites for sure if not my favorite. I agree about how much more powerful it was showing all the other couples having sex while they were simply holding each other and that was more than enough for both of them. I enjoyed all their talks, such honesty and understanding there.

I’ve started my Angel watch again. I had left off early in season 3 a while back and finished the season yesterday! I freakin loved it so much. I had heard the season was good, but OMG I loved it all!!!!!!!!!! Then I stayed up too late to watching more.

Melissa - That’s awesome. Are you a big coffee person?

Mel - Oh that’s funny you and your brother have all the same days off, pretty cool! It's awesome you have both Friday and Saturday off.

Steph You should watch the National Lampoon’s movie. I think it’s hilarious. Chevy Chase’s character wants this perfect family Christmas, and man so many crazy things happen, it becomes a total nightmare.

Eh, I’m okay at Taboo. Sometimes my clues are too random so the only person who can get the answer is my sister and then vice versa. That’s too funny about how you think you’re a better player than you are. We have a Friends trivia game too! I have no idea where it is though. I bet you do rock that game. Oh lord, well Monopoly isn’t my kind of game, because it does last forever and it’s really repetitive that I don’t find it much fun. My sister likes it though. My family got the game for my aunt for Christmas because she is a huge Beatles fan, so then she wants to play of course but she said we’d only play for an hour. So after an hour we just stopped, plus we don’t even follow all the rules either. But it was fun, mostly because of the cute game board and pieces.

It was awful how insecure Xander was when it came to relationships, I was hoping he’d grow out of that. Anya, though, I loved her journey! And I really love everything that came from her after the non-wedding. And omg that ending where Xander said ‘that’s my girl, always doing the stupid thing’ that had me tearing up. I felt horrible for Oz when he came back and learned she was with Willow. I know they still loved each other so much though. By far the best Willow pairing on the show. It’s funny the first time I watched I couldn’t wait for him to come on, Mel told me how much she loved him and them, and they did not disappoint.
I agree about everything you said about the musical episode. Visually it was amazing too. I think we both should watch it again!

Awe. I hope your break starts to slow down some. I go back Wednesday, the 21st.

Sometimes spoilers are hard to resist. I don’t spoil myself for everything and there are certain shows that I refuse to be spoiled for. I don’t watch the show, but are you wanting to find anything particular about ER?

Ross and Phoebe had their funny moments, but they had a lot of sweet ones too. Like the one you mentioned when he’s trying to make her feel better after accidentally making her feel bad about not ever being in a serious relationship. One that comes to mind is when he buys her first bike after finding out she’s never had one. And then he tries to teach her how to ride, lol. That was such a funny storyline. Oh, and I love her support of Ross and Rachel, ‘he’s her lobster’
It was sad when Joey started dating Ursula. I didn’t like that at all, I hated how she felt like he liked her sister better. I didn’t ship them throughout the series, but I definitely wasn’t opposed to the idea, I thought they’d be cute. I couldn’t help but feel sort of bad when Joey fell in love with Rachel though, not like Phoebe was jealous or anything. I don’t know. Anyway, I agree that Mike was perfect for her. They were sweet and I love that they got married and the series ended with them talking about having a bunch of kids. My biggest ship was Chandler/Monica, I loved how we got to see their relationship grow so much, and then Ross/Rachel.

Yeah the timing sucked when Rory and Jess met up again. But we know with Luke and Lorelai being together they will see each other again, and then hopefully they’ll both be in the right place to give things a try again.

Oh don’t be sorry sweets. I know Ruby isn’t popular and I’ve heard worse said about her. I would still like to learn more about her because I can’t lie, I’ve liked what she has brought to the show. But I totally want what’s best for the boys.

That’s too bad about the lack of Conan icons on lj. You found a real cute one though, I love his little jump in the beginning. And thanks about my icon. I was experimenting with the shape, so thanks!

Klaudia - It was, thank you! That’s cool you shopped at H&M, I haven’t heard of those other stores.
Hope you had fun at the party. What did you get to wear? And no, I didn’t have any plans, just stayed at home with the family. It was nice though.

Sumona That’s hilarious!! No, I didn’t have any plans either. Just hanging out at home. Have I told you how much I love your icon, I can't remember, but every time I reply on this thread I get distracted and just stare at it.
