See, this is another reason why this storyline sucks. Sylar telling Peter that they're brothers in the future will be useless when it's revealed that it was all a lie.

I don't think that was Claire's son, because she tried to kill him.

Here is also unbelievable, how Sylar can beat Peter in the mind game, because Peter was the strongest of them all.

I guess in this future, Arthur never got out of his coma so Angela kept her lie going until the end. lol

Arinna, why would you think that Sylar's kid would even be Claire's? She doesn't even look at that kid as anything. They never reveal who the mother is, but I seriously doubt it's Claire.

Well when Season 3 hit, the writers felt Peter was too powerful so they wanted only Sylar to be the most powerful one.

This is why the show didn't make it. They made they hero character too powerless.
