Heroes Trivia #4: Let's celebrate the holidays with trivia!
Holidays Heroes Trivia and Activities Starts in December Welcome to Holidays Heroes Trivia and Activities.  This will consist of 2 Mini-Games. You can participate in Heroes Trivia OR Holiday Activities OR Both. State Date: November 29 End Date: December 21 Prizes: This will be based off the number of Active participants, but at least the top 3 will get and X Number of Posts on whatever board they want with the First Place Winner getting at least 25. If we get 10 plus active participants, you could win 50 posts Registration You may sign up by replying IN the Heroes/ Holiday thread by Posting this depending on what contest you are signing up for Heroes Trivia Only: Reply with 2 Heroes Characters that You would like Christmas Activities Only: Reply with "Christmas" Heroes Trivia AND Christmas Activities Reply with - 2 Heroes Characters that you want AND "Christmas" You can compete casually or competitively Trivia only takes 5 or less minutes daily Christmas Activities 5 or less minutes daily Heroes Trivia 1. Pick 2 Heroes Characters. Once a character is taken, the others will have to select someone else. This will give participants an idea of what types of questions. 2. You can ask up to 3 Heroes General questions [If you ask a specific question, you need to state the Episode Title in your question because of all of the episodes that were aired]. You will get 3 Points for Asking 3 Heroes tv show Questions You may answer up to 3 Questions for 3 points also So 6 points Daily if you ask 3 and answer 3 questions daily. 3. If an Unregistered person comes in wants to ask open ended Super Hero questions- first come first serve for anyone to answer. You may earn at least 3 additional points. This may increase if more questions are asked. 4. Any rare conflicts will be resolved by the person stating the source of the correct answer or Alex [Moderator of Heroes] will resolve it 5. To begin with the Daily Point Capp [number of points you can earn a day is 9] Holiday Activities For those of you who are participating and want to do the Holiday/ Christmas Activities for Points. I saw this done in the Off Topic board and Had a Blast doing it. With this option, you can earn points by answering a daily Christmas question in a few sentences and do Christmas pictures/ GIF Search for 3 Points ** you may either post links of your pic or post your pic/ gif from an image host [tumblr, imgur photobucket, etc] You can pick One of These Per Day. What is your favorite left over Holiday food? Why do you like it so much? Find a themed Christmas decorated mall? What is your favorite Christmas decoration? does it have a special memory or was it a gift? Find a funny GIF of an ugly Christmas Sweater Find a themed decorated Christmas Tree What is your favorite Christmas activity to do now that you did as a kid Find a GIF or picture of your favorite fictional Christmas character other than Santa What is your perfect Christmas Eve dinner - it doesn't have to be ham or turkey What is your Favorite Christmas movie? Why do you love that movie so much? What is your favorite movie set on Christmas - [basically a story that could have told any season] outside of Die Hard? Find a GIF or picture of an animal that was dressed up in holiday clothes by it's owner What is your favorite Christmas song? why is it so meaningful to you What is your all time favorite Christmas episode of a TV show that you watch/ have watched? why do you enjoy it so much Find a summer or spring looking picture with something with Christmas in it....like a snowman in the sun [frozen] Come up with 2 Off Topic Christmas funny/ original titles.... you will get 5 points if you do 4 of them. Find a youtube Christmas funnies home video What is your favorite Christmas song? why do you love it so much? Who is your King or Queen of Holiday music [other than Mariah Carey? What is your favorite song sung by him/ her]? Find a picture of your favorite celebrity dressed with something Christmas related? What is the Best physical gift you ever have gotten? do you still have it/ use it? What is the best physical gift you believe that you ever gave? who did you give it to Find a youtube Christmas scene or pic with music [like the traditional fireplace with songs in the background] Find an ornament that you own or wish you owned on YT or tumblr. Please post the actual pic instead of linking. Remember one per day for 3 points Example: What is your favorite Christmas Desert to eat during the Christmas season? Why do you love it so much? Do you know anyone else who loves this desert as much as you do Answer: I love egg nogg and candy cane peppermint ice cream. Its one of those deserts I eat only during the Holiday season and it's only sold during the holiday season. Most people love ice cream, but I don't know anyone that has it as their fav. Holiday desert Example 2: Find an ornament reflecting a show or movie that you love. Why would you buy this ornament if you don't already have it  Example 3: What animated cartoon special had a Winter Warlock as a villain turned to Hero? Answer: Santa Clause is Coming to Town - 1 point Heroes Trivia Participants: Be honest and fair... - keep questions fun and fair since there are so many episodes for Heroes - There is NO abc character vs. xyz character...just ask up to 3 open ended Heroes tv show questions - Everyone keep track of your own points. One point = one CORRECT ANSWER.... Christmas Activity Participants: You may post a link to your GIF/ Pic or Post your pic on tumblr or another image host site and post the image. - The Winner gets 20-50 posts from me on a Board that they choose or 3 Icons. Second and Third place participants will also get posts on their board. - In the past, Saturdays are reserved for Sharing is Caring, which means if you post on 3-5 boards of Mod Participants you will get X number of points.
