This is the beginning chapter of my book called "Mistaken Trust" set in the third season!
What was that Giles always said? Vamps never come out when you want them to. The sun glared with all it's fury and it was already 9:30 pm. Buffy Summers sighed and took off her black hooded sweatshirt and put it around her hips. She had pretty much expected the sun to set at least 20 minutes ago, and so far that wasn't happening. She stuffed her hands in her jean pockets and started to Weatherly Park. The gates closed by 10:00, in half an hour, but it didn't really matter to anyone. They got in anyway. As she expected, the park was already empty. Maybe not,she thought. A man, no vampire,stood, leaning on a tree trunk, hidden in the shade of the tree's canopy. Buffy had learned how to know if a vampire was tough by the way he stood. This one was confidant, practically inviting her to kill him. Newbie,she thought quickly and gripped the stake in her pocket. "Hello Slayer," he said in a Irish accent. He looked no older than Buffy herself, a high school senior. "We gonna fight honey, or what? I don't got all day," he grinned, morphing into vamp face,"oh wait. I do." He ran at Buffy, but she ducked and he flew into the sunlight. Very quickly he exploded in a burst of flames, and all that was left was a clump of dust. Idiot. She stood there, not sure if she was admiring herself or the vamp's stupidity. Maybe both. She smiled to herself and left the way she came. Thankfully, the sun had begun to set and it was getting cooler. Out of the beginning to set shadows, she noticed a shadows among the shadows. Angel. The vampire approached her from the darkness he called home. To her, he haunted the shadows, like he wasn't really there. A figment of her imagination. Angel. "Hey." She stood on her tip-toes and gave him a kiss. He smiled. "How are you?" Buffy's face brightened. "Just dusted some newbie idiot. Forgot he has an allergic reaction to the sun." Angel chuckled. "Must've been funny." She looked up at him. Her love. Her soul mate. They could die on Graduation and he thought the death of a newbie was funny. I love him. "Listen Buffy. I was heading home and I thought-," he cut himself off. What did you think you idiot? That you'd sit and watch "I Love Lucy"? "You thought what?" Buffy prodded. "Nothing..it's nothing." "Ok then. I better head home. Mom's gonna worry." She smiled then kissed him goodbye and turned to head home. Angel stood there, at least twenty minutes. |

I guess that depends if you are a fan of that ship or not
 I know a lot of people who ship diffrent UC and CC ships would say there isn't enough of sites on their ships. IMO anyone who ships any couple would say there also isn't enough fic on thier favored couple. Everyone is always looking for more fic to read. preob is its mostly wip.. i hate wip...i hate waiting for updates and these cliffhangers are so annoying [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] __________________

Hey can someone please help me find a fic. It was a AU W/T set in S3. In it Faith does not go bad, and Tara is a one-eyed vamp working for the major. She was turned and blinded by the Master.

Oh thanks for the links for the all shippers fanfic. I hate S/B, but I'm seeing a lot of fanfication sites out there dedicated for them. hmm, thanks again for the links.
