I know Bee, the scene at the end killed me DEAD!!! Cas's face and Dean with the understanding in his eyes at what Cas was feeling Cas giving the amulet back and then Dean throwing it away It's like they've both lost their faith!!

I don't know what broke me more, the look Dean gave Cas when he was talking to God, or the look on Cas' face when he was talking to God! ...they'll get each other through it. I'm sure of it.

I felt so bad for both of them! But, yes Cas really broke my heart! That look of devastation on his face at knowing his 'Father' did not care about what was going on....no one should have to feel that way! Even an Angel of the Lord!

it was so devestating watching Dean and Cas in that last scene.

I hope Cas can turn his despair into anger and channel it in a semi healthy way to kick some ass, though i'm not sure he has hit bottom yet. As much as i love the angsty episodes i don't know how i'm going to handle watching Cas's despair

it was so strange to see Dean completely without hope he's always the one who continues the fight no matter what

I think Cas's dejection is eventually going to turn into anger, reckless anger, where I fear he's going to get himself hurt or in trouble.

But in the last episode, there was this weariness about him, the way he couldnt even get angry, the loss and betrayl he was feeling was that crushing.
