Thanks for the new thread! I'm really glad I didn't have a teacher that looked or dressed like Mr C in HS. I would have ended up having to take English over because I spent the class in a lust induced haze.

No worries! That's so true though A!

So what's everyone's fave outfit so far?

Well, I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm not overly excited by his wardrobe. Don't get me wrong -- I think it's perfect for a teacher in NYC, but it's not exactly high fashion.

His look is very consistent with the young male teachers we have in our school system here where I live -- shirt, tie, jeans, with an occasional sweater or vest thrown into the mix. Mr. C seems to be able to put things together reasonably well, but so far it's all been in the same drab/gray color palette. That's a great trick for making making a few pieces work well together. Adding the odd suit vest to the mix was sharp, but something that can pretty easily be done on a tight budget. I think the wardrobe folks have made really good, believable choices for the character.

Favorite so far? Probably the maroon sweater he was wearing at the Good Samaritan club meeting.

Definitely the sweater!

I do agree that his clothes don't 'look' high fashion, but they do look high quality, rather than a shirt from Macy's or JCPenney's, etc. Maybe that's just my perception though!

I didn't have any young male teachers at my school - there have been a young music teacher for like a year but I never too music - so the wardrobe excites me!

I'm definitely a fan of the vest too - reminds me of his wardrobe in Body Politic, which I also loved!

It may just be the general "aura" of quality he gives off.

Anita--way to crack me up about failing English if you had a teacher who looked like that. LOL!

I'm oddly a big fan of the after-school Mr C who looks like Logan all grown up.

You guys.

You're great. Valid points to all! After school Carpenter is equally hot. Really, I just love all the outfits so far. But that vest... I don't know what it does to me...

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who got Logan vibes from 'After school Mr C' ( Love that term!)!

Angela, did you miss my fic idea where I want Mr C to actually be Logan? (lalala off topic!)

But yes, that outfit just screamed a slightly older Logan.

It wasn't just the outfit, I don't think -- the body language was very "Logan", as well.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who got a ''Logan vibe'' off of Mr.C's after hours wardrobe.
