This is a great idea for a thread. I'll be here every week to check out the latest legends. I have not heard of this one...but I'm sure there will be plenty in the coming weeks that I am familiar with like the man in lovers lane with the hook arm. Even though I don't believe in most of these they can still send a chill up your spine when you hear them in the right situation.

Wow. I had never heard that particular legend. I have heard of the one for next week, though. I won't say anything else about it (because this is not the spoiler thread) but I can't wait to see how the show handles it.

I'd never heard of the "woman in white" legend before. It's kind of freaky because my sister was saying that there is some "woman" hanging around a highway near to where I live and she kept trying to tell me while we were watching but i wasnt listening because i dont need to be thinking about that when im going home alone! lol.

I'm glad that everyone liked the idea, I thought of it last Friday when I gave in and watched the pilot from Yahoo

Maz, wow that is scary lol...be careful now.
I also don't believe in the legends but I love to hear about all of them. I'm very intrigued by mysteries. __________________

Maz I was just wandering, if you think that the title makes sense. Should it be "basis" instead?

I'm familiar with the Bloody Mary one and this one particular to here in Baltimore...Black Aggie. I wonder if the show'll touch on one of them. Or the Lovers Lane, one. Just loving this premise. It's so freaky, even if you don't believe in them...I don't but there's still any way you'd get me to mess around with the bloody Mary one. (just in case :-) )

I hadn't heard of a Woman in White or Weeping Woman prior to the pilot. At least, not that I remembered that name. The story made a lot of sense though, so it seemed familiar, if that makes sense. I'm really looking forward to the future eps. Next weeks, Wendigo, I'd heard of, but I couldn't place it lol. I'm really just, amped now to see what they come up with. I wonder if they'll ever do Bigfoot? haha! I'd like to see one like the Loch Ness Monster, but since Loch Ness is in like, Scotland, and the Winchesters are in the USA it wouldn't be THAT one. But there's at least one in the states. Champy, the monster of Lake Champlain.
I wonder if they'll also explore mystical.. things, not just creatures. Like spaces and whatnot. There's some real big power centers in the state covered in Ley Lines and if they got one of those on the show it could be real interesting. I'd also like to see them investigate the Jersey Devil. __________________

I would love if they go into the legend of "The Graveyard Wager" it´s a really scary legend and when I was younger my friends and I really did such a thing as the girls in this legend.
