While sorting things from moving boxes, I found some pictures from the Comic Book Festival two years ago. This is an awesome memory I did a lot of signing since, but this was my first time and I was horribly nervous, I've never met people who read my stuff before, and I never did drawing in front of anyone outside my classmates. But it went just fine, and it was a very special memory, one of my best

It is very nerve wracking to meet people who have read & enjoyed your work. Back in 2009 I went to a writers/readers conference called RT and both my publishers were there so I did a lot of promo stuff, met people, & sat at one of my publisher's booth. Really strange having people recognize my name (pen name) & liked my writing. I'm a bit humble & it's hard for me to take praise, but it did feel good. Unfortunately it was before good camera phones so no photos of my week there

Some pics from when I went to go see Phantom of the Opera (remember that I was sick running a fever that night & had gained weight from a round of steroids so I didn't look my best ) Apparently I take better pictures with my hair down The chandelier was gorgeous & a prop of the show that drops into the audience. The picture doesn't do it justice but it was HUGE!

What do you mean, the chandelier drops into the audience ? What is it made of ? It looks really beautiful, does it really hit people without hurting them ? (makes me want to examine it from all the angles to learn how it's made )

It doesn't actually drop on them literally, just drops down and scares everyone. It's supposed to be make of "crystal" & "gold". The sets were awesome. One set rotating into another. You would have loved the entire setup, Kat. We weren't supposed to take pictures during the show. The one of the chandelier was taken during intermission.
