I think over all he was well received in fandom. Some people still complain about him being a third Winchester, but Jake himself won a lot of fans over.

Even the mention of Adam seems taboo amongst Sam and Dean. Is it because Jake Abel doesn't have the time to be apart of Supernatural? or the writers feel too much time has past? It's been years & the fandom still gives him thought. Even now, he could add interest to the story. It still irks me that he was introduced, just to be killed & not return. You can't do that with a friggin Winchester! even if he's also half Milligan. He even looks like a mix of Sam and Dean. (Sam's long face & physique & Dean's features & blond hair) which is a rare occurrence, considering Sam & Dean look nothing a like. I wanna see some J3.

Poor Jake
Jake had probably the worst life of any entity in the history of Supernatural.
1) He was eaten by a ghoul. 2) He was forced to be a meat suit in the Apocalypse. 3) Lives in a Hell cage for all eternity. Runner up: Gadreel. |
