ON THE NEXT BONES "The Man in the Morgue"

^ It sure was!! I love this show more and more each episode. The relationship betwen Bones and Booth is growing each week... I was in shipper heaven tonight. I think Booth has been the one quicker to realize his true feelings toward her, and she's just catching up. That ending was perfect. I loved all the squint stuff this episode too. Hodgins and Angela are adorable too! I'm still new to the show so I hadn't realized he had a crush on her. The 'voodoo amnesia' storyline was interesting and kept me guessing too. Also a lot of great humorous writing this week, mostly Booths exasperation with Bones when she does something that drives him crazy.

I agree with everything you said and more! The more I see of Booth and Brennan together, the more I see the love growing. More than one I said to myself, "Yea, he loves her." The smiles told it all, IMO.

Such a great episode indeed.

And Fan, you made some great comments. I think I have to agree on Booth being the first one to start realizing how much he does actually care for Bones. As you said, she is just now realizing it, especially at the end.

oh wow. But I'll get to that in a minute. And yeah, I was a bit oblivious to the whole Hodgins' crush on Angela too.

My fave moments ...

the whole feel and intensity of the episode, with Bones waking up and not knowing what had happened

Booth rushing, instantly, down to NO to be with Bones and to make sure she was okay. Did you see the way that doctor or whoever teased her about her "partner"? And did you see the way he instantly was touching her face, looking her over, and taking over her care?

Of course I loved the way he picked up the earring at the crime scene, and hid it, and in that manner, with-held evidence and sacrificed his career for her. THAT is what he meant when he hinted or said he'd laid his job on the line believing in her innocence. Or whatever that phrasing was exactly. I would love to have the exact conversation if anyone has it.

Tying to that was the end ... and Bones realizing, when Booth gave her that earring back, the meaning. It wasn't about voodoo or her history with it, or even any such stuff. It was about her realizing he had found it, and with-held evidence because of his belief in her innocence and his belief/love for her.

I know. He just was so evident in everything he did ... and the way everyone obviously read him too. Angela ... the nurse/doc ... the cop ...

A Jack and Angela thread would be awesome! I loved the way Booth risked everything to protect her and him touching her face--unbelievably cute.

I really liked this episode... seems we might be beginning to progress beyond innuendo... I just adore Booth and Bones... *hee*

And whoa... Angela/Jack? I was surprised by that!

The case was definitely an interesting one I thought... Not overly predictable.
Unfortunately I was a little distracted while watching it, but I really liked it!

Angela/Jack was awesome, because we don't get to see that side of Jack... I was gonna go for "nearly enough" but "ever" seems more appropriate. And I like it!

I loved how Booth was told by whomever was outside Bones' room that he couldn't go in and he barged in all the same! And, yeah, as you said, Kar, the way he touched her face...

Favourite new quote: "Jesus was not a zombie!"

I even wrote it down so I wouldn't forget it (but, as it turns out, I wasn't going to anyway).

And, when they had that conversation about why he was being so nice to her and how she ought to be more nice to him, too... the way they were smiling, those weren't job-only smiles.
