I'm happy to see there is at least some press/promotion for this but I really hope this is not the only premiere screening we are going to get.

I agree, I really hope Rachel will attend one but we know she's got a really busy next week or so with Kayleen's wedding coming up and we also know that she generally chooses family over work. I guess we'll see!

Cameron Crowe and Alec Baldwin attended a Aloha Screening in NY earlier this week:

The Variety article mentions NY and LA screenings:

While one journalist noted that Sony is embargoing reviews until the eve of the premiere, a Crowe ally said the director is proud of “Aloha” and looks forward to screenings this week in New York and Los Angeles. Said the Crowe associate:“No one is hiding from this film.”

So let's hope Rachel and Emma will also attend a screening together.

The lighting seems so beautiful over there as well, even the on-set interviews have the most amazing lighting.

Socialite was reporting there would be a red carpet premiere for Aloha today but looks like the schedule was changed. They are now reporting there will be a private screening:

I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed with the promotion so far but I guess we all saw it coming. Everyone is so busy but I really hope there will be some kind of event for the movie this week. Would love to see Emma and Rachel together
