Hey, also, what do you guys think about this: You know how in the "Time" TV spot everything is in reverse? I was making this gifset for tumblr and I reversed the footage back so it's playing the CORRECT way, and check this out:

It looks like she's going for his cheek to kiss him on the cheek instead of the mouth. And in the first one, I think that's footage that comes before the "kiss" and she has her hand on top of his instead of touching him-- like maybe she's trying to be affectionate without moving in too close? Do you guys think so? I'm hopeful that this is going to be an INTERESTING love interest story if it's got to be one in the first place. Maybe I have too much of a fanfic brain but I'm already speculating that because she's part of his "Before" world he's probably latching onto that and feels very strongly toward her but she's not necessarily feeling the same way? Or at least it's more complicated for her? HMMMMMMMMM.

Scott Derrickson sort of confirmed it was reverse, he liked a reddit thread about it being reversed.

I'm not sure the almost kiss moment is in reverse. I agree with you, it does look like she is going to kiss him on the cheek. But given his scar, hair and clothes, I think his accident and probably even after he met the ancient one.

Yeah I agree, he's like gone full superhero in it, but did Rachel say that their relationship became more strained as he went through his journey?

Not sure, I think everyone keeps saying that Rachel is Stange's connection to the real world and during Comic Con I had the feeling Rachel wanted to emphasis they are friends in the present time of the movie.

Scott Derrickson did a Q&A on reddit and talked about Rachel:
