Yeah, she had a good support system with Cory & Shawn, but she needed her own best friend too

^ Oh, yes. As much as I love them, Cory and Shawn didn't always say the right thing. That wouldn't have been such a comfort to someone who was as frustrated as Topanga was. I'm sure Angela's words helped Topanga believe that things would get better.

Plus, when the problem involved Cory in some way, Angela was always on Topanga's side, & you need one person who always has your back like that

I think it's how Angela felt, cause she was honest to EVERYONE no matter what. That's one of the many reasons I love her character as well. She told people what they needed to hear.

I think it was how she felt, but even when she didn't agree with what Topanga was doing, she always found a way to say it much nicer than she would to anyone else

^ That's awesome! That's why Angela was the perfect person to step in as Topanga's BFF. I get the sense that Angela made sure Topanga had all of the facts and/or considered all of her options.

Ah. It's just been so long since I've given the show a proper viewing that details are a little fuzzy. I'm happy to hear that you think that Angela would have given Topanga the hard truth if that's how she really felt about it.

It's been a while for me too. Last time I saw the episodes was when Freeform was showing them years ago (that's how I saw all the seasons, cause in the 90's I didn't stick with the show till the end, just watched it here and there but stopped before Angela showed up) I wish another channel would start airing the show again.

How much do you think Topanga and Angela know about each other's lives now? I wish we could have seen them react to the changes in each other's lives since they were in college.
