I can see it both ways, I'm happy with not having the kiss because the moment is pretty intense & original without it. How many people have gone as crazy over an almost kiss as people did with these two?

Plus, I think we'll get a real kiss eventually, & when we do, they'll be no question over what they're feeling then

I wouldn't get my hopes up for that. I'm tied on the whole friendship Lucaya and romance Lucaya. I see it going either way. But I have a feeling that TPTB are going to keep it Rucas. I'll take whatever they dish out.

It could have been that they put the scene in that they did because the kiss was way to intense for a kids show. I mean, from the way he was looking at her it looked like it was going to be passionate if he had kissed her.

As I've said before, it wouldn't have been good to get that kiss, only to carry on the way things went after. When they kiss, I would hope for it to be a sign of moving forward.

Yeah, same. I'm glad they didn't take it as far. I think there would have been much more than just the frustration we saw if that did happen. I mean, did you see Riley's face when she learned that they did kiss?

I'm fine it wasn't in the episode. I want their first kiss to be special and not when he's trying to decide between them. HOWEVER, I would still love to have seen it. Kind of like the olicity kiss that was filmed for the season 2 finale but they took it out. We still got to see it.

I do think they took it out because its disney and it was probably too hot for tv.

And yes if they'd actually kissed Lucas would never have been able to let her go. haha

There would have been much more tension than there had been. Like you said, he wouldn't have been able to let her go and he would have been more torn about who to be with.

On another note: I think it is funny that she makes fun of his accent when she has just as much of one herself. I mean, she cans sound like a New Yorker when she wants to, but you can hear a slight drawl when she talks normally. Where is Sabrina originally from?

I'm not sure where Sabrina is from, but she is good at doing the Texas accent that Lucas doesn't have at all

BTW........I know this probably isn't the right place, but I didn't know where to ask........who played Cletus in part one of the Texas saga? He sounded more like an Okie than a Texan. I think the writers have gotten the two mixed up. Texan have a drawl, Oklahomians have the "hur hur" or twangy sound that Maya mocks.
