Now all I can imagine is Alan and Amy tag-teaming their talk with Eric and Cory. There is no way the guys wouldn't have been grossed-out or traumatized in some way by the end of it.

I think Alan and Amy would have told the guys what Amy told them when she explained why she and Alan had snuck around and made up stories. The guys wouldn't understand why Alan and Amy did it then, but they would when they got married and had children of their own.

^ Yup! That does sound like the most likely outcome.

I can't remember if Alan and Amy made any more attempts to be sneaky so that they could get time alone after that episode. You can bet that they would have had to be extremely creative so that their children wouldn't catch on to their plan.

I'm sure Amy & Alan liked the excitement of sneaking around a little though, so they would still do that sometimes even when they didn't have to

^ Yeah. Alan and Amy's children must have understood why they snuck off to spend time alone together when they got older, and they realized how hard it is to balance their responsibilities and their love lives.

I'm sure they did sneak around even when they didn't have to. It must have been hot and exciting for them to sneak off to have secret encounters and to fool everyone, like their children.
