I get the sense that Logan is single and not sleeping with other women. Rory is the one who brings it up, and Logan is pretty open that there's "nothing to leave" and I'm sure Rory leaves it at that? So I really could see Logan not actually sleeping with other women, and only sleeping with Rory. The two things I do wonder are:

1) Does Logan know Rory is still with Paul? One scenario to this is he does know, and is led on by the fact that she doesn't care for Paul and hopes that she will eventually choose to be with him again. The other scenario is that he assumes they are done, while Rory is actually sort of stringing Paul on? Either scenario could lead to Logan confronting her, and being upset at him not being enough/wanting to only be with her.

and

2) How do they address the proposal? Because seriously, Logan has to be quite tortured to have a ~no strings attached~ relationship with Rory, who he literally offered the biggest form of commitment to.

yes after reading the new description my take is definitely the same. He is not seeing anyone else and let's Rory just assume. Which obviously is gonna lead to big misunderstand and argument in the future.

I am still debating if he knows about Paul or not. I think that Logan would stay away from Rory if he knew, especially with their past. No matter what he knows or not, or who he sees or not when Rory is not in London eventually everything will end up in a big mess and in a argument, which I guess can only do them good.

I am really curious about the proposal thing, because we don't know Amy will handle it, hell we don't even know how she feels about that happening. But I definitely think they need to address it if they want an actual chance to make it this time.

I can see the assuming coming from a place of Logan kind of being miffed at her still viewing him as a ladies man.

The proposal in general was a way for the S7 writers to get Logan off the show and have Rory end up single, but Amy can't ignore it. She's choosing to have RL sleep together again, which means they have to address it somehow.

Some interesting stuff:

People are really into it. So what was it like returning to the set, getting this opportunity? It was a little strange but it was also fun. I'd stayed close to Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino. When they called and said that they were doing this, I said 'Yup, of course I'll be there. I'll totally be there.' But it's strange to play a character that I've played 13 or 14 years ago. He's kind of the same where we left him. We pick right back up in the same spot.

He was kind of a pill, if we're being serious. In the beginning. And then you learned to love him, which was nice. Sure. Yeah, but I don't think he was even unrequited. They had their moment and it didn't work. Right? That's true, that is true. But he, you know …. [big laugh] But this is the best part. Everyone was like 'but he,' 'but he,' 'no no no wait, but he'…. [laughs] I'm like 'no, it didn't work!' What if you never got that moment of having these four episodes again, right? You'd be like 'that's what happened.'

No that was just DSR thinking he was the most clever person in the universe, wanting to go out with a bang only bring back Matt in the next season. That worked so well for him. There is a reason why so many people from the past are involved but he is not.

Yet again a interview where Milo seems to try at hinting that RJ won't end up together.

Pretty much confirmed by Lauren Graham who said the final episode wasn't shot as a finale. They did the end scene in the diner as 'safety' in case it was. Matt was contracted for Season 8.
