I had to switch computers so now my iTunes is all reset, meaning it shows none of my songs as having any plays.
 I'm currently going through Kelly's albums and all the music I have of hers (because, let's be honest, it has to be shown as played at least once) and I picked My December to listen to first. It's been a while since I've just listened to the whole album straight through. I love it.__________________

No, I wanted to do them all a certain way and the same but I completely forgot about them to be honest which is why they have not been done. I am thinking of doing them with a border like I had at Adele but possibly smaller and with the deluxe versions where applicable or the front and back

What I loved about MD was the lyrics of so many of the songs. They were dark, but they were so honest and emotional. Not that they aren't on her more recent stuff, but it was especially noticeable because she wrote/co-wrote most of MD's material. I hope maybe on one of her future records she goes back to that (writing more of her own material) because it's some of my favorite stuff of hers.

that is what I love about this album too. sure it was dark, but that fit her at that point in life. We all have darker moments, & this album was her completely. I'd love to have an album like that again where its her writing her emotions in all the songs. Sure now it'd be a happier album but we'd still get her true & honest emotions & she does amazing work with those things

Songs based on a real emotions work the best, whether that's happy or sad.. As long as it's true to the artist.
MD was darker yes But I do believe that she didn't have the best period of her life in that moment and that came through in the songs.I like that Kelly isn't just 1 kind of song type of girl. Each album is different and she keeps evolving instead of some artists that stick to the same sound. __________________
