That was my fault, I combined two songs in my head and not the ones in question.

I can hear the similarities between the two but it is minor. I see it more in that time when Kelly started singing Halo during Already Gone but you could mash-up a lot of songs to make them sound similar probably .

Yes that is who I meant Jess. I knew his name ended in banks but could not remember what it was and I thought he was in her band too.

I don't think they're alike either... The song tune is very different IMO

Yeah, the songs are similar, but not as similar that people can say it is a ripoff of Halo.

Lots of songs are similar, it just happens that those two in particular both involve Ryan Tedder and they came out around the same time. But if it were me I may be wary of (to take Kelly's lyrics) touch the fire twice and work with him again just in case people decide to make connections again because of a similar note or tune.

whenever I hear Ryan's name I get concerned that it'll happen again But yeah I don't think the two songs are all that alike there's only so much you an do with music so chances are there's going to be some minor double ups I'd think

I totally agree with you. Lots of songs are similar nowdays and it is hard to find a 100% new sound.

exactly. I think that's what makes me concerned. I don't want Kelly to have bad press. I'm sure Ryan Tedder is wonderful though
