News and Speculation:
• Clarkson's first order of business on the Warner Music Group label will to be record an album for 2017 that will draw on soul music and R&B for inspiration. (x)

It may be a little premature to be starting this but since Kelly said she was working on it I decided to create a thread for any news, speculation, and other discussions on the album while we wait for it .

That would be nice. I am curious to see what path Kelly goes down now that she seems to have more freedom. Soul and R&B could mean various different things..

I'm definitely excited, that type of sound is perfect for her voice. I'm excited to see what influences she pulls from and what the songs will sound like in the end. Soul could be soulful rock, soulful blues, etc.

music is music to me I'm sure I'll love it no matter how it sounds

That is what I am curious about. She has so many different influences which she could draw from or she may go a completely different path..

I'm really excited for this album seeing now that Kelly has a new label and they all seems so friendly and happy to have her in their family. I think this one will be so amazing.

I wonder if she will be influenced at all by Adele since she has mentioned being a fan of her in the past and Adele can be classed as a soul/R&B singer.
