Hi.

Just wanted to ask if I would be breaking any rules if I added this link to my signature: Hurricane Help for Pets in Need

Linking it in your signature like that is fine. Just please don't post specifically requesting donations.

Thanks for checking.

Hi there everyone, I too am experiencing a slowness. Also I am seeing when I update to post, that I get a double post notice. Also I was trying to PM someone and they reported getting six blank PMs from me. I did send then a PM with text, but I am not sure what is causing this.

Now what are the supported browsers that I should be using to post here. I normally use IE, but I also have Chrome, Fire Fox as well as MS Edge.

Thanks,

Penn

The slowness has been reported to the appropriate people. Thanks for your patience.

As far as I know, we don't recommend using a specific browser.

Hi again.
I know that has a way to upload Instagram photos and videos into a post, but now there is also a feature called Instagram stories. Is there a BB code for those “stories”? If not, will there eventually be?
Thanks.

Yeah, I don't think we have a feature for that yet. We're not sure if a feature will be added here but hopefully in the future.

Hey there forum Admins, I have asked this before but have you considered doing the following. Down load all the users with their current post levels, then have the pointer going forward update this new total mark post number with new post counts and thus no one looses anything.

Then remove off all the old Closed threads as one can no longer post in them anyway. This way you will rover a lot of storage space and greatly increase the update or select posting time here on the forums. It is something to consider.

Can someone please tell me how to get rid of that infolinks stuff? It shows up randomly in members posts, underlines random words and links to an irritating ad when you hover your mouse over the underlined word. Thanks for any help. PS: I don't have infolinks on my computer, it's coming from this website and I can't remember how to block it.

I google-d and here's what I found:

Quote:
To understand if your computer is infected with adware or you are just visiting websites that are partners of Infolinks and therefore experience various pop-up advertisements you have to do a simple test – try to visit major websites (like Google.com, Yahoo.com or Wikipedia.org) and see if you can notice those ads there. If the answer is yes, your computer is probably infected and you should take care of that.

If you see infolinks advertisements in some pages only, then you are not infected with this adware. Infolinks is a legitimate advertising platform itself and it is ok for advertisers to use it.
Quote:
Infolinks is an online advertisement provider that publishers implement onto their websites if they choose. Infolinks is not installed onto your browser or computer, but rather onto individual websites by their owners. Like any other form of advertisement, only the website owner can put it on or remove it from their site.
I'm no techie so hopefully someone can also answer. I used to have this when visiting but it seems to be gone now and it really didn't bother me so much.
