I'm not the biggest crellie fan, but they did reconnect. He wrote her a song and the beach montage. He was honest with her too.

I think one of the smartest things they've done on the show is phrase out the older characters and turn it completely over to the newer crop, but that said, you can't help but miss your old favorites.
