I absolutely agree! Demetrius did an excellent job in this episode. Dallas has become quite the compelling character.

SERIOUSLY. I already mentioned in the episode discussion thread how moved I was by that. Like on a personal level. That doesn't usually happen to me. I don't think I'll ever forget him on the rooftop.

His performance in Friday's episode is the type that should win him awards. I hope it does.

And Fiona and Dallas? I love that pair.

I can't wait to see his kid show up, we've never really seen a teen father (of a toddler and not a baby) on the show- I don't really count Lucas.

I want more Dallas. I'm wondering if his breakdown in Bittersweet Symphony was the sign that he is starting to heal but I wouldn't mind if he suffered some more because his angst is so lovely. I consider Dallas to be Cam's tough loving big brother and I like that he fought to have him included in the video yearbook.

The kid situation is interesting. On one hand I can see how it might seem like he is running away from responsibilities. But I think it explains why he is so driven and hammered into Cam so hard. I don't think he abandoned his kid. He's not running away, he's running towards something he thinks could provide for them in the future.

He's done a lot to get that reputation, but he's clearly shown an incredible loyalty to those who he considers to be on his "team" (not just the Ice Hounds, but the Torres brothers, Fiona, etc). And now he seems to have broken the barrier with Clare and Eli, which (for better or worse) is probably his last major hurdle to acceptance by a large chunk of the audience. That and the scene with him and Fiona. I don't know how anyone couldn't watch that and not want to root for the guy.

Can't wait for his plot in Friday's episode......

Dallas should know by now that it's never a good idea to take Drew's advice- no way that "truth delay" is going to end well.

Enjoyed the hell out of his plot last night. As I've mentioned before, we've never really had a teen father before on the show- at least not in this way, and Dallas is a perfect character to explore that issue. Definitely looking forward to part 2.

Demetrius did a hangout on Google+ yesterday. It's an hour and a half, but essentially it went a lot into how he was able to channel his emotions in BSS, his reaction to finding out Dallas had a son, his opinion on the Alli/Dallas relationship, and some more personal stuff (favorite TV show, celebrity crush, what he does in his downtime [apparently A LOT of Monopoly], and so on). Dylan Everett also made it known that he was watching the hangout and that was pretty funny. It's long, but I'd definitely suggest watching it; Demetrius is so nice and funny (and I may or may not have participated )

Did anyone see this clip with Stefan talking about Dallas and his kid?

It turns out that Demetrius found out about Dallas having a son the same everyone else did in the read through- and that he didn't even know in that great scene with Fiona talking down Dallas when he's on the roof and mentions that he had somebody worth sticking around for.
