When Alli was taking uppers, oh boy and then she fell asleep at the wheel. I love her and Dallas when they were trying to make it up to Clare with a rap for what Dallas had done at her party.

Anyway I was just looking for this because I was thinking about how much I like Alli's plots and her relationships in general. It could be easy to get burned out on them since she has been through so much but I never am tired of her. She is also very shippable and with each romance, it feels fresh. I can't believe she will be a senior next year. It feels like we just met our little backwoods bhandari.

Alli is one of my favorite characters on the show, and I love that she's had numerous story lines that didn't completely revolve around her love life.

That said, I'm worried I'm going to hate her story line in this summer episodes. I hope I'm wrong.

I'm not exactly thrilled about the "book smart, boy dumb" promo or what that implies but at the same time I've never been disappointed with any of her love interest plots. It shouldn't feel fresh but it does. There are plenty of other character's romantic plots that feel more repetitive than her's. So far each of the mistakes in her love life have been different but still in character for Alli.

Still I am a bit concerned that this Paris love interest will be too much of a bad guy. I can't help but be suspicious since he most likely will be a recurring character. I'm not too crazy about those kind of Degrassi moments.

It seems like a lot of the characters are sent off with transformation moments. I wonder what Alli's will be. Even with her troubles with boys, I don't want her final new image to be boys are bad, no boys.

She's a tourist in Paris, hooking up with a waiter. On this show, hard to imagine that turning out well. But, we'll see.

I will give them a little credit for setting up the bit about walking the Paris streets in heels, and following through on it in the very next episode.

I can't help but think of when Brenda and Donna went to Paris on Beverly Hills 90210 when I think of what Degrassi is doing here. So Alli meeting the waiter reminds me of when Donna hooked up with that one photographer dude, thinking it was legit, and then almost let him take nude photos of her. At least I think that is how the storyline went...it has been awhile. I don't think Alli will be in that situation with a camera again but there could be some sort of scam in the works.

I'm not sure what kind of scam he could be pulling on her. He seems like a simple guy. Honestly tho, nothing about this Paris hookup storyline excites me. It's not anything new for Alli. I want something new for her!

I still can't get over the idea that we're supposed to buy the idea that these kids are going to all these places for their assignments by themselves, but whatever.

Yeah, this whole stretch of episodes doesn't really much to excite outside of some of the stuff with Clare (and I fear that's largely over with), and Alli's story line is a prime example of these uninteresting story lines.
