What Do The Lyrics Mean?

Any insight as to what some of EV's songs mean? For example, "Snow White Queen" is about Amy being stalked by a scary, obsessive fan.

My Immortal, I was told, is about someone close who died.

Those stanzas show that a "presence" won't go away, that time can not erase and that the wounds won't seem to heal, which are all things I'd expect you'd feel if someone close died.

Personally, I always felt that MI was about a love that had soured and that her lover just couldn't leave...but I see your interpretation...very nice. It changes my perception of the song. "Your presence still lingers here and it won't leave me alone" very good.

Thanks, I never really interpreted it that way either until my friend and me got into a very serious debate .

But, I still see it more of a love song..

Of course, it was the first song I heard by EV, and I always said to myself, "Damn, I'd hate to be the guy she's singing about", but maybe I shouldn't feel that way

No, it's quite powerful song, and the lyrics are open to interpretation.

I do love Everybody's Fool, those lyrics have layer upon layer!
