Wow, he lived to be 91?
 I never saw a full movie of his, but I remember his telethons! I watch old movies, but never saw his comedy films!Anyone see a good version of today's eclipse? We had 90% coverage, but it didn't even get dark here! But I saw some photos of shadows on the ground and they looked really "bubbly" which was neat! I randomly want an apple fritter, gee, wonder why  __________________

Germany didn't have it?
Tomorrow is my minor surgery removal while I'm awake. Hope I don't  while it's happening. Looking forward to going back to work soon! Three weeks is usually long enough for a good break for me but two months is too much and I get so bored by the end of it all! I need action, routines, socialization and things to do! __________________

Well, I'm done with it. I was pretty anxious and they noticed
Doctor gave me a dissolvable Ativan. But once I was frozen, I didn't feel anything, I did not look behind me but I focused on this cat calendar on the wall the whole time while they asked me questions about book, authors and cats Now I have stitches to pain manage and antibiotics. I'm just glad the blocked sweat gland is out cause it was getting infected by this point. But now I have to go back to get stitches out in 2 weeks so I hope that does t hurt, I've never had stitches that aren't dissolvable before. And cause the Ativan is having this affect on me right now, I can hardly type without making typos so I'll just stick to the word games today.  __________________

Speaking of books & authors: A few days ago I saw a tweet by Neil Gaiman where he secretly signed all the copies of his books on sale at a book store at JFK airport.

 I'm glad it went well, Leanne. Really glad.  It may feel weird getting the stitches out, but it shouldn't hurt. Kia. Little Stewie They should give out lollipops to everyone! I'm going to ask next time. That's cool for an author to do that. We had 98% coverage here for the eclipse. It got dark as night, it was really cool. __________________

Stewie, I love when authors sneak autographs into their books for the book buyers pleasant surprises! I actually collect books autographed by authors I like.
 Hi Kim! I hope not cause I've never had stitches that don't dissolve! I'm glad it should be all done and healed when work starts! I'm watching Dr. Oz where they say if you order lobster in restaurants it probably isn't lobster unless it's in the body still. But they pointed out the lobster bisque soup I had in NYC by the Soup Man was true lobster so good! My good review can still stand!  __________________

I have never read a Neil Gaiman book, to be honest, but quite a bit of stuff has been turned into movies and TV shows, by now. These days it's 'Lucifer' (great show, imo), and the new 'American Gods'.
