That song "Let It Go" seemed to have as much replay as "My Heart Will Go On" it seemed!!!

I better get ordering gifts cause I don't intend to go hang at the busy mall any time soon!!

Nice to have a walk, Claire :blah: with your friend must be a great part of the day!

Mark, I live in an apartment too and my car is parked half under a cover and half out and gets rain on it, so if it does snow, I'll have to clean off half my car. The good thing is I have a covered walkway to my door so I won't worry about walking in actual snow though!

My family get togethers have shrunk so things might be smaller and we might not go to fishpond on Christmas Eve.

I'm looking forward to just sleeping in cause I wake up feeling like I could sleep til noon easily!

Tftnt!

Have you guys ever been so psychically exhausted even to the point where you can’t sleep? I don’t get it at all and trying to explain it is even more difficult. It seems like I’m yawning literally every 5 seconds

Interesting fact: Contrary to popular belief yawning isn’t a sign of boredom, it’d actually your brain’s natural response to it needing more oxygen!

Meliana 12-04-2019 01:38 AM

^Yes that's happened to me.

Thanks for the new thread!

Thick freezing fog this morning. I need to sweep up leaves. The oak tree is really dropping leaves now.

I went shopping yesterday, I got a new diary and calendar.

I couldn't help watching Frozen! My kids loved it.

I've been so exhausted after being awake for 24 hours that I start to feel like I'm not human but like a zombie walking around!! Not fun! I go to sleep pretty easily when I finally get home. This stuff happens when I travel by flight!

What kind of pictures does your calendar have, Claire? Or is it just a month of compartments you write in on the fridge?

Yawning is a weird thing it seems all living things do. I just wonder why its contagious that when you see or sometimes hear the mention of it, makes you yawn!!

Well, a regular mid week work day here!

And when its over I'm struggling not to nap, but feel too tired in the evening to feel productive to even play a video game right now!!

So I'm really exciting!

Ropetuned 12-04-2019 12:13 PM

Hahaha, I’ll always wonder that too! Maybe I’ll ask Reddit!

I’m not ready for snow storms and below 20 degree temps :( We’ve been so lucky so far but it’s only December

Meliana 12-04-2019 12:25 PM

I think I heard somewhere that it's a social bonding thing, but whether there is evidence of that, I don't know...

It has cats on it, Leanne. I wanted something funny, but I wanted a calendar that had plenty of room for writing things on, and a lot of them were so covered by pictures that there was no room to write on them really! Seeing as I use one for all the family, I need more space!

^I don't envy you on the low temperatures! :cold: I'm glad I live in a country where such things are rare! Still it is getting below freezing overnight now.

Yes Leanne, jetlag is very hard to cope with.

reason to believe 12-04-2019 10:21 PM

I think they are predicting a mild winter for BC which I’m hoping they are right!

So far, they predicted snow but it didn’t happen.

Jet lag is the worst!

Yeah, I like fun calendars too. The watercolor instructor said that we should keep calendar pictures to practice painting with.

I had a decent day. Got things done, even though it was still freezing at one of my places of work :cold:

I can’t wait til the two week Christmas break though! I’m picturing just sleeping whenever I want

Meliana 12-05-2019 11:51 AM

I would never expect snow here at this time of year. Very rare in December!

I really hope you have more energy soon.

I cleaned the house today. I also did a load of online bookkeeping, so I'm all up to date with it now.

reason to believe 12-06-2019 11:56 AM

I'm sort of feeling more normal lately the past two days now.

That's great you got things cleaned up plus got bookkeeping done. That's a good feeling. Does it mean you have time for some fun this weekend?

I'm SO glad its the weekend. And for no reason just the fact I can relax or stay in my place and putter around with whatever I want to do for downtime!! Plus my cat is being so affectionate lately. I can't stop talking, kissing or hugging or petting him and he goes for it all!

Meanwhile, it must be getting closer to Christmas cause the kids at work seem louder, more active and its just feeling like a general din to my senses. Maybe that's why I'm looking forward to two days of none of that!!

Ropetuned 12-06-2019 10:00 PM

It’s the weekend!

Everyone have a good one

Meliana 12-07-2019 12:33 PM

We went to see Jumanji 2 today, I really enjoyed it!

I'm glad you're starting to feel better, Leanne.

^Thanks!

I just did more exam practice. I've also been sent a time for my first therapy session next Wednesday.

reason to believe 12-08-2019 06:22 PM

Jumanji reminds me that Robin Williams isn’t here anymore!

Yeah this weekend has been a lot of sleeping and going over to parents and we watched Elf and had dinner, mom gave me leftovers for dinner tonight, my aunt and uncle have an appetizers thing tonight but I’m not feeling in the mood to go out there and it’s already dark as night! I just think watching tv in bed would be nice.

I’m so proud of you, Claire! that’s a good step you’ve taken! good luck with your first appointment. Is it over online?

Two more weeks til a two week break, I’ll be sure to enjoy it! :thud:

Meliana 12-09-2019 01:11 AM

I should have said Jumanji 3, I forgot about the first one!

Yes it seems it's all via a messenger type communication. I'm beginning to feel quite nervous about it.

Elf is a good film.

I haven't watched any Christmas films yet. I need to write my Christmas cards this week, though.

reason to believe 12-09-2019 10:42 AM

I understand about nervousness. It might be easier to type your thoughts though than have to speak while looking at a person, at least for the first few sessions, though! At least I know I'm better articulate in writing than vocalizing.

How is your day so far?

Mine is not bad, Monday is a rather non eventful morning, its nice and sunny and I'm thinking maybe I'll order some beef udon soup for lunch.

I don't send Christmas cards cause I keep thinking about how people sent photos of their family in it and no one needed a pic of me and my cat.
