My favorite part is when Gillian is trying to describe what the aliens look like then just suddenly stops and sighs in exasperation like she is wondering why with all her serious acting training she’s on a talk show talking about green haired aliens :lol:

Also when Kathy Lee asks for the fat sucking monsters number and GA says sure but you die afterwards so it doesn’t matter! :lol:

X-Files seemed original to me. Mostly cause of Scully being a non sexy stereotype smart female character. I know the show was influenced by Kojack the Night Stalker!

Pretty much. Only shows I can compare are shows like Twilight Zone and Outer Limits but those were contained to one episode each

X-Files was definitely pretty original for the time, I know it inspired a lot of shows that came after though like Fringe

Fringe is probably my all time favorite

My top 3 sci-fi shows are Twilight Zone, X- Files and Fringe...ironically one inspired the next

I don't watch much of what is defined by sci-fi and I sort of defined X-files as a horror!

My absolute favorite is the original twilight zone and that’s it, can’t believer it got rebooted twice after that

I kind of wish for fan fiction where M&S time travel and get to investigate a Twilight Zone mystery :lol:
