I watched the scene with her boyfriend... it felt really weird and inappropriate
On the other hand a development from "I live my life as everybody expects me too... good job, boyfriend, plans of getting married etc" to "I do it my/Mulder's way" would have been fun too
But that would have given Mulder far too much influence and power.

And Scully's hair is far too orange for my taste... I like it darker

Yea the boyfriend scenes were just too weird. I'm glad they cut them. Scully's hair is better a little darker.

speaking of s1, the episode Darkness Falls is, as long as i remember, the first episode that has Mulder-Scully near-death experience together.

Oh I just watched that episode the other day. I love how close Mulder and Scully are sitting in the bed scene. I also love how he comforts her when she's freaking out about the bugs being on her. It's such a great moment.

i think Mulder & Scully already *like* each other the first time they shake hand at the basement and they have to *thank* CSM for getting Scully as Mulder's partner. throughout season 1, their relationship grows from mere partnership into trust and something else.

what i like from season 1:

Scully: Please, will you just hear me? I have never met anyone so passionate and dedicated to a belief as you. It's so intense that sometimes it's blinding. Scully: Mulder, I wouldn't put myself on the line for anybody but you.
Mulder: If there's an ice tea in that bag, could be love.
Scully: Must be fate, Mulder. Root beer.

Scully just stares at the so-called alien fetus in shock & confusion. great GA facial expression since she has to communicate Scully's feeling since Scully doesn't believe in the ET things alike.

I watched Deep Throat last night and I just have to say that it is one of my favorite episodes. I love the character of Deep Throat, and I love how he tries to warn Mulder in the beginning, but of course Mulder doesn't listen. Plus we get to see kickass Scully in this ep. I've always loved the end and the way she pushes that journalist onto the car. Plus she's so tiny so it just looks even more cool.

Just finished watching Squeeze and Beyond the Sea. Some of the best from XF if you ask me. I never tire of watching Bts because Boggs is played so brilliantly by Brad Dourif as is Tooms by Doug Hutchinson. Plus I like Bts for the shippy stuff and the fact that Mulder is the skeptical one in this ep.

But yes, they are classic episodes. That's what I'd show people if they asked me what were some good episodes to watch, those need to see eps.
