How fun!I loved season 2!

smoothaise 11-09-2006 10:00 PM

I liked this season, but I didn't love it.

I'm not sure why...something felt like it was missing. Although, I did enjoy the whole Dan/Piper/Leo triangle...although, Dan was getting irksome.

¨¨~ J Erlotiel L ~¨¨ 11-10-2006 03:19 AM

What was missing?
I think there was a lot of new stuff brought to the show throughout season 2.

smoothaise 11-10-2006 08:16 AM

I don't know. I didn't like as many episodes this season, I guess. Then again, I'm a Paige (Rose McGowan) fan so I'm not too crazy about the Pru (Shannon Doherty) years.

Uhuh, yeah well she's not in the show till the 4th season.

Just started watching Season 2 again, I can't remember if I really liked it or not

¨¨~ J Erlotiel L ~¨¨ 11-14-2007 07:41 AM

I have too started over again. So far I like it, I've seen the first three eps.

ride the lightning 11-14-2007 09:43 PM

I love the first episode, just because all their past demons come back.

I thought it was funny when Jeremy came back

¨¨~ J Erlotiel L ~¨¨ 11-15-2007 07:52 AM

Yeah, and it was really fun that they remember almost all the spells and vanquishes by heart.

GrhmLz 12-10-2007 10:17 PM

I liked season 2. :)

But season one will always be my favorite because of Prue/Andy. However, seasons 1-3 are my favorite b/c they're the Prue years.

I think the only season 2 episodes I was really turned off to were Ms. Hellfire and Give Me A Sign b/c I don't like Bane!

And if I had to pick my favorites, I think they'd be: Witch Trial (sad but Prue mourns the loss of Andy); Morality Bites; The Painted World; P3 H2O; Reckless Abandon; Awakened; and Murphy's Luck.

¨¨~ J Erlotiel L ~¨¨ 12-11-2007 08:21 AM

I liked those eps you said,Heathe.I think it's amazing that you can pick out favorites like that.I always have trouble doing that:P

GrhmLz 12-11-2007 12:14 PM

Yeah, sometimes, it's just that certain storyline arcs are more interesting for me than others.

¨¨~ J Erlotiel L ~¨¨ 12-12-2007 10:39 AM

Yeah, but there is always something I like about the eps..:P strange I know.
Today I saw Pardon my Past I think that was a really good ep that introduced something new with past lives and the Leo/Piper having been past lovers:love:

GrhmLz 12-14-2007 07:34 PM

You know what confused me about that episode?

Leo.

Because, we found out that Leo died while serving in WWII (World War II). That's the 1940s. Then, he became a Whitelighter.

But, Phoebe's past life (which included Prue, Piper, Dan's and Leo's) took place in the 1920s? Leo couldn't have been someone else during this time b/c he would still be Leo. Leo would have most likely been born in the 1920s (or before) in order to be alive and serve in WWII!

¨¨~ J Erlotiel L ~¨¨ 12-15-2007 07:50 AM

It must have been his 2nd past life then...or?

GrhmLz 12-18-2007 04:34 PM

It wouldn't have worked.

Leo would be alive during his mortal life in that time period. Before he died and became a whitelighter. He couldn't have a past life at that same time. I think it was just a writing blooper (mistake) that they missed/didn't pay too much attention to.

¨¨~ J Erlotiel L ~¨¨ 12-19-2007 06:20 AM

Yeah, must be because if he participated in WW2 then that life he had in the 20's episode must have been his real life. The one he lived for real. But how could he have been with Piper back then?I remember that he had a wife back then that Piper finds out about in one of the eps in S2.

GrhmLz 12-19-2007 10:10 AM

Exactly.

In the 1920s, Leo probably still would have been a child/teenager. Then, he grew up and by the 1940s got married and then served in WWII. He couldn't have been with Piper's past self.

lol, Unless the writers wanted us to believe that Leo was like in his 40s when he served in WWII? And that he was in his 20's or early 30s in the 1920s. Then, he met someone else and married later on?

But the only thing that doesn't make sense about that is I believe the show was trying to say that was Leo in his past life. Which means he would be someone else. Not Leo during his mortal life. That's where the real confusion/problem comes in b/c that wouldn't make sense.

¨¨~ J Erlotiel L ~¨¨ 12-20-2007 09:53 AM

Yeah, it's really confusing but I must say that in 20's it was his mortal life and already in that he and Piper were soulmates and obviously involved before he married...

GrhmLz 12-20-2007 03:26 PM

 Yeah, that's probably the best way to read into it!

¨¨~ J Erlotiel L ~¨¨ 12-21-2007 09:12 AM

Glad that we agree:nod:

GrhmLz 12-21-2007 08:12 PM

Yeah, well, when the writers mess up we viewers have to be creative! ;)

¨¨~ J Erlotiel L ~¨¨ 12-22-2007 08:39 AM

GrhmLz 12-23-2007 08:55 PM

Wow ... think about what this episode meant for Phoebe.

In her last life, she was evil. I wonder how her soul converted to the good side in her present life? Because ... as far as we know, she had no other lives in between that to work her way back to being good. Remember, like Paige? There was alot of time between that past her life as Paige. She could have had alot of lives to work it out.
