Of course minor changes will happen but they wont bring in Wally and not give him the need for speed. Once that happens, Barry will be Wallys Jay Garrick and help guide him on how to use his powers which will probably lead them to working together. It could change due to Wells but we know that Wally disappears during a crisis in 10 years or whatever which would then lead to Wally taking up his mantle.

I guess they'll rename the show The Flashs.

That is unless they get rid of Barry.

Actually, I usually believe to expect major changes. Other than character names or dropped in references from the source materials, shows need to stand on their own. So I hope Wally gets a nice reinvention and let the character flourish instead of the sidekick. The mere fact that he's not a "kid" is a good start, but guess we'll see.

They can still have him flourish and be a sidekick. There will probably be times where he saves the day and times where he helps Barry save the day. They tried to make major changes to Wally in the New52 and it was met with backlash, they need to have him stay true to who he was in the comics while adding things here and there that still make him fit in with the show.

Yes, but it was within the same medium. To reinvent the comics to a purely comic book reading audience is one thing, to change to fit tv viewers who never read or know the character is another. So they probably aren't aware of the story so it wouldn't matter to them. The show only needs to make sense to the specific tv narrative.

I think TV captures a new and different audience. Some may be readers, but probably the vast majority aren't. They're mostly tv viewers, first.

And then move into STAR Labs kick Killer Frost out! And bam The Flash is how it's meant to be Team Flash with actual flashes.

I wonder if we're gonna see HawkGirl again after midseason, maybe E2. Ciara was recently on a night out with Candice, Violett, Keiynan (looking very cozy in the limo, lol) and some TF crew people.

But does Barry really need a sidekick? One with the same abilities? This is the same problem Arrow had with Oliver and Roy. It's only worst here since Wally looks the same age as Barry.

I'll also never get the real team Flash sentiment of a team with nothing but speedsters. That's boring to me. I like to see groups of characters put together who have different abilities from eachother.

They've had them for decades now so I don't see the problem. They just need to make sure that they up the ante to where needing a 2nd hero makes sense.

We're hoping from that Instagram post, but after getting our hopes up SO many times, it's best to go in with low expectations

I think they'll break up Ep 10/11 but she'll come back at some point. But I'm hoping I'm totally wrong about the latter.
