I don't think we have the same kinds of evaluations, because ours has zero to do with the government.

Basically, we go into a room with HR and our supervisors and they tell us how we're doing, usually with emphasis on the points to improve. Which, apparently, can be determined from one-sided interpretations of one-time incidents.

So maybe there is a lot of paperwork, because I'm assuming they consult a lot of people in order to figure out what they're going to tell us.

So maybe those people have to fill out a lot of survey-type forms.

I don't know.

I just don't love how everyone's on edge around evaluation time.

If there's stuff to improve, they really should tell us as issues arise. Not hoard it all year long to drop it in our laps once a year.

Mom's just rule. I'm so glad yours is helping you out, too.

Especially when it's things we don't want to deal with-it's very blessed to have them.

Karen still praying for you and the kitty. Good luck with the evaluations.

Sunny that really is not nice to wait all year to dump that on you, and make everyone worry and anxious.

That's just wrong.

There comes a point where you figure that whatever will come with evaluations can't be controlled or anticipated.

So, as there's nothing to be done, you just go on with your job.

And that's it.

But it'll be a relief when that's all done and over with, for sure.

In the meantime, I have today to enjoy myself.

Yesterday was very productive, but it was also exhausting.

I need to catch up on TV. I'm almost at the week I was away.

Isn't that depressing?

Yeah, never understood the waiting to bring up something that needs improvement. Biting it up when you see the issues and it'll be better for everyone. Period.

Bernie is still ssslllooowwwlllyyy improving. He gives lots of lovings and eats well.

Sunny you have a lot of TV to catch up on.

Awesome perspective on the powerlessness to anticipate the evaluations, but also to go on with your life in a meaningful and positive way.

That's awesome Karen.

Not much going on here. It poured all day. Heavy rain. It was rough with Sunday already being a hard day for me, but it suited my mood.

Kar Well, we're famous here for how, culturally, we'll try and avoid unpleasantness.

It'd be better if it came a little bit at a time, though.

Kimmie I do the best I can.

I wrote my last quiz tonight.

Whatever happens, I've done all I can and the dye has been cast.

I still have one last class, but that's just joy and fun.

It's done.

Kevin takes Bernie back to the vet today for a followup.

I'm working today, but then I have off until Tuesday! And that week/weekend will be my only full work week for December. Got lots of half weeks with the holidays coming up and vacation!

Well, I'm very proud of you Sunny.

And I'm glad you're done with the exception of 1 more class night.

Karen! Enjoy your Thanksgiving and your days off!!

We were supposed to (hahahaha) get 2-4 inches of snow. Not a flake.

That was good, I had to get my lab work today. We overslept cause my alarm didn't go off, but we've both relaxed enough that we're okay with things like that now.

Just using my Facebook account to get into my image hosting now, so Karen tell yourself and Carol that I didn't unfriend you for any other reason.

Just over Facebook and Twitter.

I'm a little afraid because I do think I do alright on that quiz.

Normally, I think I did awful and it turns out better than I thought.

If I think I did alright, I've got nowhere to go but down.

I did lay down everything I could remember, so that's all I could have done either way.

Meanwhile, this has been the longest day ever at work.

Probably not, but it feels like it.

I had a nice nap when I got home. So that was good.

I was exhausted from Thanksgiving.

It's a rough day for me.

Spent time with Mom watching football.

I forgot how much manliness there was in the NFL.

Long days are exhausting.

Yeah, we all have out bugaboos with the holidays.

I started getting my annual grumps two weeks ago and had to stop myself.

But the week is finally over, so I'm gonna just focus on that and choose to be happy.

has been easy for me.

Might be cause I'm usually here weird hours.

Thanks Karen.

Sunny, how did you pull yourself out of it?

It just seemed to come over me like doom.

We decided for Christmas dinner we're going to eat on TV trays in Mom's room.

I just can't sit down at a dinner table without being reminded of the abuse at the table by my StepMonsterFather.

Are you doing better now? Did ya'll have holidays too? I can't remember.

We went to Walgreen's, CVS, and Kmart yesterday.

Elsa is completely sold out everywhere. Any thing Elsa.

She outsold Barbie!

I got Frozen recorded on the free movie channels this weekend, but I haven't watched it yet.

I guess it was just the hour I was on. Regardless, it's working now.

Glad the holiday is over for you now Kimmie. And TV trays for Christmas sounds AWESOME! We do non-traditional food at Dad's for Christmas dinner.

Well I guess I got food poisoning off leftovers. I made fried mashed potato cakes last night at Dad's and that was ALL I ate and by the time I got home and in the shower I was vomiting violently. Like every 5-10 minutes for nearly 2 hours. It was a very rough experience, but I'm better today. Absolutely exhausted but I'll take that over the sickness any day any moment.
