Karen Thank you about my hair. Unfortunately, in the paper yesterday, I found out Karen (The manager) is no longer the manager, and is gone.
I hope you enjoy your long weekend! Sunny Yeah, all of those reactions make sense. The negativity would have bothered me the most as well. I would freeze, and not know what to do. Yeah, getting up late makes it hard to fall asleep. It's like I can't nap too long, or I wake up all night. Glad to hear that you slept well once you slept. I started the new thread before I read the posts on the other one. Maybe I'm picking up your thoughts subconsciously. I'm doing pretty good. It's gorgeous here today-a cool front came through, and the sun is shining. It's awesome. Inspires me to do some more of my cleaning. Other than that, Buffy Marathon all day and night, Fireworks from the city at 9pm, cookout, and dinner together on the patio. __________________

Happy belated 4th of July, Kar, Car and Kimmie!
Thank you for the new thread, Kimmie. Awesome, awesome title. You know, I was just mentioning in case you were a little hesitant about starting this particular thread. That's all. I'm so happy to see the weekend arrive. This week has been a little insane. Next week promises to be just as busy as well. But I got my U.S. money, so I'm ready to go shopping a the end of the week! How are you, Kimmie? Did you do anything special for 4th of July? __________________

Thanks Sunny.
Nope, I good with just about any thread, except the Post Count, and the Birthday thread. Thank you for being concerned, and supportive. I'm glad the weekend got here for you, too. And yay for being prepared to shop! I'm glad you got that, so it's one less thing to think about while getting ready. We cooked out, and, I watched different marathons of shows on through the day. That's it. It was a relaxing day. Yesterday I was so sick. It felt like a hangover, which it obviously wasn't. Glad the race got rained out last night, and is on now-though only 13 cars on the lead lap, and about 16 of 43 cars left to race after 2 huge wrecks. Jimmie got hit in the first wreck-19 laps in. Still not feeling great, but I feel a little better sitting up. Getting my eyes examined tomorrow. Other than that, not much going on. Some cleaning. At least early yesterday. __________________

Hi, Kar!
Kimmie I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well and that Jimmie's race ended abruptly and early. Nothing much about this weekend worked out for you, in the end, huh? I'm sorry to hear about that. At least, it sounds like you had a nice Friday. __________________

Yeah, Karen from our back balcony we can see the higher up ones.
And thanks. Glad to be feeling better. Sunny today didn't go any better. Way too much going wrong in a short time span. However, I trust that it's all okay. And, my eyes finally cleared up from being dilated at my eye exam, and I have ZERO evidence in my eyes of having diabetes damage. So, all is good. How did you guys' day go?? __________________

Well, hold on there.
I was all ready to go "oh no" for today turning out not much better than the weekend. And I still can, if you need me to. But, come on, no diabetes damage in the eyes? That is AWSOME news. Seriously, good job, you. (I'm well aware that it's not something you actually can control, beyond how you manage your diabetes anyway.) So, my cleaning lady came yesterday and probably unplugged my alarm clock, which she does at least every other time. And it's okay. I live in an old apartment. I don't have that many electrical outlets that work and she needs to plus the hoover in somewhere. But I apparently didn't put the time back correctly after she was gone, because my alarm clock didn't ring this morning. Fortunately, I woke up only about 20 minutes late, but it takes me a long time to actually wake up once I get up. So, yeah, today was a bit off. The whole thing. __________________

Yeah, that was the pure awesomeness of the day, and it's because I do well with my diabetes.
Aww, sorry you're so tired or were last night. and I hope you recovered last night. Oh crap! I hate rushing awakeness. It takes me a while to wake up as well, so I feel your pain. The whole day is off, and pretty much in a difficult way. I hope today was better for you. I'm cleaning the middle room out today, and painting the furniture, some while outside, and some inside. Got a lot of sanding to do since I painted it black and silver. __________________

I sorta had the opposite experience this morning.
I woke up a little bit before my alarm clock and I had another heart attack, because I though I had overslept again. I always keep my alarm clock ahead of the real time precisely to trick myself into getting up on time. I usually know about the trick, but it helps. This morning, though, I totally forgot about the trick. Oops! How did the cleaning and painting go? __________________

Aw, thanks, Kar.
Sure beat last night, though. I kept waking up every hour or so for reasons unknown. I think I've officially had all the ways my insomnia kicks up over the past three days. Oversleeping, undersleeping and waking up throughout the night. Yipee! It's a church trip, Kar. So the stuff to look forward to, for me anyway, is time looking inward, if you will. Oh, and of course, shopping for clothes at much better prices. __________________

Oh I get that. And shopping should be fun indeed. Sometimes I'm in the mood to shop and shop, and sometimes not. Lately I've been wanting to, but don't NEED to so I don't, although I guess I can always use jeans/shorts for work.

Sunny, I hate that panic! I'm glad you were up early. Sorry it was so shocking.
Cleaning and painting didn't go. Still sick. But, I got through all the boxes of pics and scrapbook stuff I had. That was time consuming, and didn't take much movement. That will be awesome for you Sunny. I love inward searching/learning so much. I think you do, too? Enjoy your sale shopping! Karen have you ever tried checking out Thrift Shops for things you collect, or are in search of? I got a bunch of frames and stuff for $12 today. It's shopping, without spending a lot. Kinda like Dollar Tree shopping. I've been up at 3am the last 2 nights, and unable to go back to sleep, so I think that's partly why I still feel sick. Sunny I hope you have a great time this weekend! __________________
