Spotlight - really great film. Delving into the darkness of the cover ups of molestation cases against the catholic church. Intense.
Steve Jobs - A lot of dialogue, and some scenes were longer than needed. But loved Kate Winslet's performance and Michael Fassbender did an amazing job.  |

caught Far from the Madding Crowd on HBO last night. Beautifully filmed, engaging cast, but a little on the bland side after editing.
Still, a gently romantic re-telling of a classic story. __________________

Sinister 2: I mainly watched it since I had seen the first one a while ago, and each time I watched it, it managed to scare me way too well. The sequel wasn't as scary; not as many creepy moments. However, I did manage to jump at least twice xD

The Submarine Kid - very good/thoughtful film about a marine coming back from War and he has PTSD and all the emotions he does, a journey if you will. Wonderful performances from Finn Wittrock & Emilie De Ravin
