My OCD won't let me not take notice!

The only thing I hate when it comes to certain movies is when they don't clarify if it's a real documentary style film or filmed like a documentary, aka mockumentary for entertainment purposes. Like how "Blair Witch Project" was first advertised. People do that a lot now and sometimes I can't tell the difference between pure entertainment or realism.

As for fight scenes, another great set of 'fights' are all the fist fights from "Fight Club".

Oh, I LOVED the promo for Blair Witch Project They actually got the actors' families to participate in a mock documentary pretending their loved ones were missing

And the ultimate irony being that it's Edward Norton's character getting beaten to death, the big trick of the movie

Oh Loved how BWP was advertised and then the reveal later when the three stars walked out on the MTV movie awards stage!

Just saying almost 20 years later and no real explanation on some films that are advertised like that. Annoys me sometimes because I don't know if I"m watching at true documentary because it's called that. Or is it all made up and fake or any of it based on any truth.

That was one of the best movie reveals!

The Paranormal Activity series is deceptive the same way and Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake. Putting little creepy messages as the set-up to make the audience think there's a genuine history there

Yeah but those we know are not real but there were some low budget horror style films I'd seen and they confused me because when I tried to google information on them, I came up empty. The reason being, they're so low budget that there's no real commentary on the making of or if there's any truth to them.

I can't for the life of me remember any of the film titles now, especially because I want to!

Hell House LLC did something similar I think found footage movies always raise more of a question mark when it comes to fooling audiences.

A lot of it isn't just the marketing -- the performances can be good enough to convince people that we've just witnessed something real.

That's true too, but I know with Hell House LLC that it was fake to look real.

I actually thought it was quite convincing, when the party happened The crowd chaos.

I'm going to change things up and add a LEAST favorite fight scene -

CHARACTER/FILM: Mark and Daniel in Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason

SUMMARY + WHY I DON'T LIKE IT: A rehash of their fight from the first movie over Bridget. Everything in this movie seemed done with a half-hearted effort.

Oh dear lord, the 3rd one was TERRIBLE.

I was enraged when I came online and saw positive reviews for it.

It was not great but I don’t want to make anyone feel bad for liking it either, if they love it then great, enjoy what you want, it’s just not for me!

Agreed I just hated the baby storyline. Also, Colin Firth looked like he didn't want to be there. Nothing against Patrick Dempsey, but Hugh Grant being replaced was weird.

So Patrick played Hugh’s part or just a new character in place of Hugh’s?

A new character but that's what annoyed me. It's impossible to not root for the guy. Therefore, this movie made me ever wonder what I saw in Mark and Bridget's relationship to begin with. (As did Edge of Reason, actually.)

That is annoying. But they are based on books so I do wonder what transpired from book to film and what was changed.
