Kat's dad was hilarious. Props to the actor for his excellent comic timing.
My favorite moment is when Joey comes to the house to ask Bianca to the prom and the dad just stares at him in a really annoyed way and shuts the door on him. __________________

That scene . I love how this movie works with all the usual American teen stereotypes, but still manages to offer an entertaining take on them.
Also, the dialogue. A bit on the nose for sure, but effective nonetheless. x I really liked the tv show based on it too. Though I approached it basically expecting it to suck. It ended up being really cute and lighthearted instead. |

^^ That picspam The teacher was brilliant. What I liked about his character is that they made him so extreme, as if he was the dream teacher who told everybody exactly what he thought of them. A no-holds-barred attitude that you wouldn't get away with in teaching in reality, but it really worked in this movie Excellent comedy timing.
I also love how, by telling off Joey, he was basically defending Kat (even though he would never admit it ) __________________

I liked the teacher not taking the BS from the kids.

I felt that he was being allowed to say everything a teacher in reality has always dreamed of saying to the nastiest guy in class

So true, if any teacher actually said that in this day an age, I don't think they'd still have a job.

Definitely not, I mean he was ready to criticize Joey every day before he even started talking

I know it was fun to watch, but not realistic by any means. He said what most teachers likely wanted to say to little *insert poop emoji* heads...

Exactly Pretty much every other word that came out of his mouth was a sackable offense. Even the way he taught Shakespeare was mocking and bringing in irrelevant social political prejudices ("I know he's a dead white guy, but he knows his ")
