Of course I do

Damon is my absolute favorite
Alaric would come after that.
And I really love Klaus, but one might argue that he belongs to The Originals

Wow, that's a very good (and hard) question!
Might be a shallow list
- Philippe de Clermont - All Souls Trilogy.
- Alice - Twilight
- Octavia - The 100
- Jamie - Outlander
- Dimitri - Vampire Academy

For the men; mostly the strong and protective type, that's what I really like.
I can't think of any I would like to meet to have in-depth conversations with.

What year? I have no idea

I watched it right at the beginning, but then I watched it on TV. It was on so late that I had to force myself to stay up to watch it.
After 5/6 episodes, it was just not worth the wait, I didn't like it all that much
Even when later on I started watching tv shows on my computer, I never got back into it. Those first few episodes hadn't held my interest well enough.
Than during Season 3 my sister finally convinced me I had to go back to watching it.
I didn't want to
Instead I just started watching casually at the beginning of season 3, I watched a few episodes, missed a few, wasn't really THAT interested still

I never even caught up to the episodes I missed there.

From Season 4 onward though, I was hooked. And from there on I watched every new episode the day after it aired

Also (you didn't ask this, but since I'm talking about it now anyway), I almost gave up on the show twice, during the last two Seasons. But since I've watched it so far, I'm pulling through and will watch until it ends. I just hope the next Season will be a heck of a lot better than the last two
So you haven't seen all the episodes? What about the books?

I didn't (yet). I'm currently re-watching Season 3. I finished Season 1 & 2.
I read the first three books, but they are really poorly translated, so I gave up on those. And I didn't like the storyline(s) enough to buy the English versions

I casually post on more like this one here, The Blacklist, Grey's Anatomy, Books, TV, </scorpion>
And even less I'll go and visit boards of actors/shows I know to place some games for post counts (for the boards, not mine )

Oh and I've just found This is Us since the show started

My sister and I both watch a lot of TV shows. When one of us has a show we really love, we'll let the other one know and then we'll both fangirl. My sister had started watching The 100 three years ago when it started and told me I should go watch it. But only told me once or twice and I never did.
Then last year I finally started watching it and Loved it! So I called her and I wanted to fangirl about it. But she just wasn't as excited as I was She liked the show, I loved it. I knew Season 3 would be starting soon and I wanted to talk to Someone about it. I Needed to talk to Someone about it. So I literally googled "fan forum The 100" and that's how I found

I was dreading making that long post again

So, in The Netherlands are allowed to go to school when they turn 4. They have to when they turn 5.
There is the possibility to home school but then
1. You have to prove to a judge that there is no school in your area that you can send your kids to. (Due to life issues, not religion, that is not allowed).
2. You have to create a lesson plan for your children every year and keep track of their progress like a school would. (Setting goals each year)
If you enlist one of your kids in school, then all of them have to go to school and you're not allowed to change your mind and do home school later on.

For most children school does indeed start at 4. Elementary school, 8 years.
The first two years is still just playing a lot.
From the third grade on they get to writing/reading and so on.
In the eight grade there is a test, that test combined with the teachers' opinion will form an advice on which level of secondary education you go to. They call it an advice, but in fact the advice is binding, school decided which level your child will attend.

So at 12 years old they go to high school.
This is divided into 4 levels, all taking 4 years. But it can be that you'll switch levels during these 4 years, usually in the first year if that happens
You'll usually finish high school at the age of 16. School attendance is compulsory until the age of 18, so you still have two years at least to go

After high school it get's even more interesting in how it's divided

If you have done high school at one of the two lowest levels, you can proceed to the MBO. If you have done high school at one of the two highest levels, you could choose to proceed to the HBO. But if you would chose to, you are allowed to do MBO (first).

MBO is vocational training and comes in 4 levels again.
Let's take the job of secretary as an example;
Level 1 diploma; you can be a telephonist.
Level 2 diploma; you can be a receptionist.
Level 3 diploma; you can be a secretary.
Level 4 diploma; you can be an executives secretary (maybe overseeing others).

This education will take 1 to 3/4 years, depending on the level of high school you had.

Theoretically speaking you could get a job with a level 1 diploma. But practically all employers will require their telephonists to have a level 4 diploma

If you finished MBO, you can also go through to HBO. HBO = University.

There are a lot of good things about the Dutch educational system, but I really dislike how there's one mold that has to eventually fit each child. There's no room for individualism really

Last night we had baked potatoes, chicken schnitzel and salad for dinner.
Tonight I backed bacon pancakes
I haven't decided on tomorrow yet

My favorite dish is spaghetti, in the past I've sometimes literally eaten it every day for a week I also like salad a lot; all kinds of salads
