The place the Byrne family is most associated with. __________________

Oh. I thought it was an ancient Celtic tribe or something.

And I assume the people of Wicklow have these characteristics for a reason.

Every region in Ireland has its own look to one extent or another. Of course, there's plenty variation within any one place, but in any one region you see a lot of repetition of particular characteristics.

I heard the red hair actually comes from Scotland and other traits like blonde and tall people might be from the Viking conquests.

Blond hair and tall people don't just come from Viking invaders, any more than red hair comes from Scotland. These things are spread across northern Europe since prehistoric times.

There's a lot of bull going around about these things.
Yes, I heard that Saoirse won the award. Very glad. She deserves awards. __________________

Yes, she did. And I think she'd also make a good Syren if they wanted her.

I'm not sure she'd really fit the character, personality and physical type. Plus it'd likely be a more minor role than she'd want to take. I'm sure other Irish actressses could be found for the role.

Saoirse Ronan is too young for Siryn. I'd rather they go with a lesser known actress and someone over 30.
I'm sure they'll probably screw up the casting though, whenever they plan to introduce her into the movies. Last edited by LightYears; 01-10-2018 at 09:36 PM |

They'll probably cast somebody not Irish, maybe even make the character American like they did with Banshee. Which pissed me off bigtime. __________________
