No, Nightcrawler was not in the comic in which the Punisher first appeared. Nightcrawler hadn't been invented yet. The Punisher first appeared in Amazing Spider Man 129, February 1974. Nightcrawler first appeared in Giant Size X-Men 1, May 1975. So, you see, Nightcrawler couldn't have appeared in the comic the Punisher first appeared in. I've read the Punisher's first appearance and I can assure you Nightcrawler was not in it.

The Punisher also appeared twice more in Amazing Spider Man in 1974, before Nightcrawler's first appearance as a character.

The Punisher is new to me :wiggle: never saw the Clive Owen movie :shrug: though did see Jon related to Daredevil in 2nd season where he rocked the role out of the park

Gonna mention Nightcrawler just cause I can :lmao: adored him from what I remember from Evolution plus felt both movie versions were good related to X2 and the latest

Damn, I was thinking of the wrong Spider-Man cover. The issue I was thinking of was issue #162, which I had as a kid. That was the first time I remember seeing the Punisher. My bad. :)

Clive Owen played Dwight in Sin City, Sarah. :P :lol: He only looked like The Punisher. I remember Thomas Jane played The Punisher in the film with John Travolta, but I don't know who played him in Punisher: War Journal.

Yea I saw Sin City :nod: but never seen Punisher before Jon started as him on Netflix!Marvel

That Punisher film back in 2004 with Thomas Jane wasn't much use. The later film, Punisher War Zone with Ray Stevenson, was a bit better, but both have the misfortune of being based on comics written by Garth Ennis. The Punisher I'm familiar with was from before he got his hands on the story. I mainly know Garth Ennis as the guy who screwed up in the Judge Dredd comics.

Thanks for all that info, sum1. :) And I was attempting to explain how Sarah might've possibly mistaken Clive Owen for the Punisher, given that his Dwight outfit in Sin City bore somewhat of a resemblance. :lol:

Yeah, the Punisher I'm most familiar with is the one from the 70's and 80's comics. :nod: Oh, and Dolph Lundgren also played The Punisher in a straight-to-video movie back in the 80's from Cannon Films. :lol: It was horrible.
