Her role was much bigger in the second film and would have made more sense for her to shave it for that movie instead of the first one. I wonder if she had other reasons to shave it as well. Or maybe she didn't want to have to go through the process of growing it all out again.

Yeah, I wonder why they didn't ask her to shave it all of this time around considering like what you said, Amy, Nebula had a more central role in part 2. If they can do away with not cutting her hair on this one, then why cut it all off in the first movie anyway?

maybe they did ask her to shave her hair and Karen refused to do it this time since she just got done growing it back out from the first time.

Or she could be doing other movie and TV projects too that hinders her from cutting it off. Cause I remember the first GotG movie, she was right out of DW that time so obviously she wasn't going to jump into a TV show yet after many years on DW.

Me too! UGH. They were my first DW OTP. So imagine how devastated I was watching "Angels Take Manhattan". It was a dark time in my life.

Yeah I still miss the Ponds so much and I really wish there was a way for them to guest star at some point. It makes me sad that they went to a point in time where the Doctor can not visit

Yeah, otherwise it's going to be a paradox (again) and it will destroy New York if the Doctor goes back.

IKR? And so far it's all been very unique how the companions are leaving DW. I guess that's the great thing about the show being about time-travel, there's so many different ways for a companion to go.

yes that's true! I really like they are making a point to have different exits for all of them. It add to their uniqueness and not lumping them all together in a single companion mold.
