I like Chris too, some times more than David and Matt as he (with Billy) was responsible for reviving the show and making it what it has become today. Really wish Chris had stayed longer.

I think we should rewatch Mark and the Rani on Saturday in her memory. Not Time and the Rani because that is awful. But Mark and the Rani is fairly good. So I propose we watch it on Saturday in her memory. Anyone with me??

Steven Moffat has explained the timey-wimey confusion,
following the events in The Time of the Doctor.

In the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine, a reader asks
that if The Doctor prevented his own death,
how could his tomb be in The Name of the Doctor?

Moffat replies: “I’ve often wondered about that. Fortunately
, late one night, The Doctor turned up in person and explained it to me:”

“THE DOCTOR: Changing time is tricky. It’s a bit like a detective story:
so as long there isn’t an actual body, you’ve got a certain
amount of wiggle room – for instance, if the body has,
rather conveniently, been burned on a boat in Utah.”

“Here’s the thing: I can change the future so long as the
future has not already been established as part of my own past.
I can’t rescue Amy and Rory because I already know that I didn’t.”

“But what do I know about Trenzalore? There’s a big monument
that looks very like my TARDIS. There’s a temporal
fissure leading to my timeline. Maybe it’s my grave.
Maybe, one day, it’s my burial ground. Maybe it is
something else entirely, and we got it all wrong.
Don’t know. Don’t plan to find out for as long as possible.”

“The main thing is, Clara still jumped into my time stream,
and ended up helping me through all of my life.
All that is established, unchanged – but there’s wiggle room!”

Steven Moffat has spoken on why the TARDIS dislikes Clara.

In the latest issue of Doctor Who Magazine, Moffat says: “As the Type 40
bad girl made clear in ‘The Doctor’s Wife’, she doesn’t like him bringing
home strays. The TARDIS, as we know, likes to fire her pet Time Lord
at interesting moments in history and watch the fireworks.”

“Anyone less mad than The Doctor might have noticed by now
the TARDIS navigation always works perfectly when the crisis demands,
but never when he fancies lunch, or tea and biscuits at the Eye of Orion.”

“Now those pesky humans who keep following him home are
usually content to stumble about, saying: ‘It’s bigger on the inside’
and remain sufficiently in awe of the Police Box magic never to question it.
But clever, sceptical, hard-to-impress Clara might just cause trouble.”

Moffat teases: “It’s almost like it’s all building to something…
Oh! What’s this I’m writing today?”

Thanks for that. I always just assumed that the Tardis didn't like her because there were different versions of her and past Clara had already been inside, not because she's clever and hard to impress. Interesting

Both great theories I find it funny and beautiful that the tardis is also a second character with personality it's not just a machine

I kind of think that Clara being an issue for the Tardis because she had already been inside as Clara Oswin would have been a better explanation, tbh The Tardis not liking her because she's clever and hard to impress just seems too simple.

Dr Who's Matt Smith Joins 'Terminator' Trilogy in 'Major Role'!

Matt Smith has just joined the Terminator trilogy in a major role, Deadline reports!

The 31-year-old actor will join the upcoming three movies in a “major role that
will grow in the second and third films.” No word yet on what the actual
role is, but it appears to be a huge part of the franchise!

Matt joins already cemented cast Emilia Clarke as Sara Connor, Zero Dark
Thirty’s Jason Clarke as John Connor, and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese.

Terminator 5 will hit theaters on June 2015 – we can’t wait to check it out!
