Thanks for posting those! The songs do sound great and that interview is interesting. Hope she will be able to put out music that she feels truly represents her. Great news about going on a tour with the play, too!

Okay - I hate the songs, but she sounds great! Guess they are "current" and there isn't much "current" music that I like.

I actually like her debut album. It also didn't sell well because the ratings and buzz about American Idol have fallen in the last three or four years.

It's cool some Idols are finding their way into these kinds of collaborations since those are quite popular nowadays.

Yeah and that particular album got pushed back a few times and it kind of lost momentum.

Collaborations are definitely a good way to get exposure.

I think the pushing back really hurt the album sales, wasn't there that incident when people who had preordered got an empty album because iTunes hadn't changed the release date?

I remember that, I felt so bad for Candice when that happened with her debut album. It was handled so poorly

She does sound lovely in the Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas video though!

I have her debut album as well. It's not really my cup of tea genre-wise but I do like some of the songs on it and she sounds really good vocally.
