After watching Roswell, OUR Roswell, I ordered the original books. And even if the storyline was different, the characters's spirits and love stories remained the same as the show so there was a continuity there.

But here, without M&M, and A&I, and this reboot choosing from the original show the worst thing to ever happened, aka Isabel married and to a new guy , yeah, no thanks. I feel no continuity at all.

I pity the dreamers, old and new. Because after what those writers did right from the start to M&M and A&I, I dread thinking about what they are going to do to Max and Liz. The dreamers have all my sympathy. At least, since there's no candy, I won't have to watch but for the dreamers... Some would say, it can't be worse than what was done to M&L in the show. Hmmm, things can get worse. Max and Liz might not even end up together in the end, a la Dawson, Buffy/Angel or other fictional tv couples which started as the main couple of their shows but ended up not together.


So my ships are : Michael and Maria, Darcy and Elizabeth, Anne and Gilbert, The Doctor and Rose, Kylo and Rey. That's not bad. Rose had her own Doctor, and in SW, my ship is going to happen! So I can close the door on that so-called reboot.

It is, Podmom! It's on the CW on Tuesday nights, but season 1-4 are on Netflix

I just wish they changed the names of the characters in this reboot :sad:

Yes, changed names would make a world of difference.

It's just a little change but it would mean a lot. It would separate completly our Roswell from this thing.

I agree. If they changed the names or even just the last names, I wouldn't really have much of a bone to pick.

Aaah, that is so cute! Wouldn't it be great if those two could FINALLY work together again, writing and directing? Of course, the two of them on screen would be the icing on the cake but those two still doing projects together, that would be great!

Agreed I love that they know each other so well that Majandra knows Brendan's passion for Directing and he knows how much she loves Writing. The magic is still there between them even though they're not romantically involved anymore and they would make a great team

Yeah, writing for one, directing for the other, they have a common project based on a confirmed show and couple... all they need is someone or a network backing them up. The problem is, they don't have enough experience, that's too bad. If they had more experience in writing and directing, they would have it easier finding funding and a network .
