I miss them too and really sad about Carri she was special and if you've never seen that one woman show she did a few years back about her life...do it ...it is awesome and so funny. She was so smart and sassy!

I am so sad over this news. Star Wars was my childhood. In school when I was about 4 or 5 years old I remember how Star Wars was one of the picture books I loved looking at as a child. I found the photos so interesting. Then years later I saw the movies and fell in love with them. I always loved Leia hair and tried so hard to make mine to look like those famous locks.
Even though I never got the chance to meet Carrie Fisher in person at conventions such as New York Comic Con and San Diego Comic Con I feel lucky so lucky that I got to see her in her one woman play Wishful Drinking with Berhitall and Lilmouse back in 2009β! I remember how excited we were to get tickets and see her in the show! To hear Carrie speak the famous line of "Help Me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're My Only Hope" live in the show is something I will never forget! It was so amazing how after the show Carrie came out for a special Q&A. I also loved how we got to see her again San Diego Comic Con 2012 during the Adult Swim panel! She was the surprise guest. That was such a awesome surprise! Her humor and whit is somthing I will always remember! It is tragic that she is gone too soon. However it is beautiful to think that she passed still on top of her career and proved she was a fighter! My thoughts and prayer are with her family. May the Force be with her always! To quote Yoda βDeath is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Her royal highness will be missed. I loved how Roswell used Star War reference now and then in the show and used clips of Star Wars in the season one gag reel. It is so hard to pick top 5 Max and Liz scenes. Pilot all the way. Heatwave kiss Sexual Healing Max to the Max (ending scene and The White Room I still cry) Destiny Van scene __________________

And to make things worse, Carrie's mom died as well.

Erin you picked my top 5 too...great minds
Ahhh I loved reading about your love of Carrie/Leah and your memories. So cool you saw her one woman show live...I saw it on HBO and was blown away by her incredible wit and intelligence and talent. That show was amazing and hysterical. I will be searching it out and watching it again. Now the loss of her mother Debbie one day later if you read/saw Carrie's book Postcards From the Edge and the not as great movie ( chronicling loosely their sometimes tumultuous relationship ....also discussed in that one woman show) you can't help but feel that Carrie is not only glad to be with her mother but laughing at the irony of mom upstaging her even in death. __________________

1. The reverse connection scene...
2. Their first kiss 3. Any of their scenes in Sexual Healing... primarily the kitchen scene in the beginning, and the apartment scene. 4. The proposal which was so epic... 5. Their make out session in "Busted" (behind the Crashdown kitchen), the adrenaline fuel passion. If I could put a sixth, then the dance in Viva Las Vegas. So close Liz was to confessing about Future Max, but just the fact they were so close for one night...Then it went all to hell... __________________
